Meet Mocha! A loving three-and-a-half-year-old Doberman/Golden Retriever mix currently in Oceanside, CA, whose heart is as big as his 80-pound frame and just as full of warmth and devotion. Cloaked in a stunning black and tan coat, Mocha brings the best of both breeds. Loyalty, intelligence, and playful charm into one big bundle of affection who’s convinced he belongs in your lap! Mocha is a joyful spirit at home, where he enjoys romping in the backyard, fetching his favorite toys, and playfully palling around with his smaller dog sibling. He’s a master cuddler and a sweet companion who knows how to unwind after a good round of zoomies. Mocha is house-trained, microchipped, neutered, and knows several handy commands like “sit,” “lie down,” “go,” and even “go to sleep.” His routine is simple: two meals a day, playtime, and lots of love! While he shines with his family and does wonderfully with older kids and familiar guests, Mocha can be cautious around new adults. With slow, structured introductions and a confident caregiver who can guide him through new experiences, he thrives. One of his more memorable moments was when a surprise visit from a neighbor triggered his protective side, he ran after the visitor but never bit, showing more bark than bite. This moment highlights his need for a calm home with thoughtful management during greetings and transitions. Out on walks, Mocha is curious about other dogs but tends to pull on the leash, especially when excited. He’s not reactive or noisy, just strong and eager! A little leash training and daily exercise will go a long way in helping him be the best walking buddy. Hi everyone, I’m looking to rehome my sweet Doberman, Zoe. She’s about 4–5 years old, healthy, fully vaccinated, trained, and an absolute love. Zoe lives for fetch, walks, toys, cuddles, and attention, and she’s friendly with other dogs. Due to big life changes (longer work hours and a new baby), I can’t give her the time she truly deserves, and I want to do right by her. She would do best with someone who has the time and energy to enjoy an active, affectionate dog. There’s no rehoming fee, and I’m happy to include a three-month food supply to help make the transition easier. Now this is a dog... a really really special dog. I personally rescued Jackson when I was in Skid Row.I saw him, I knew he was special. Took a team to secure his rescue, but everyone jumped in and within 10 hours he was out of there. From the moment he arrived, Jackson was a bright light. Anyone, family friends who want to bring this boy into their life will have a fantastic experience. He loves other dogs, is athletic but at the same time settles beautifully. Jackson rides great in a car and loves hikes. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs 58 pounds. I think he should gain another 3-5 pounds. Don't pass this one by. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
