This big boy is named Duke. He is 11 months old and he is a Doberman/Husky mix. Duke is currently in training learning his in house manners after living outside. Duke is a very smart dog that will need an experienced owner ONLY. He has had a traumatic event in his past that makes him very unsure and weary of strangers. When meeting him for the first few times he will need time and space to approach on his own. Duke will need someone that doesn't have a busy life, not a lot of strangers entering the home. He needs a balanced structure for him to thrive. We are looking for possibly a single male or two adult home that does not have small animals or children. He needs a lot of guidance to continue to thrive and time to build his trust. Possibly former military or police officer would be the best match for him. Duke loves to play fetch, sleep in his crate, frolic in the grass and sit by your side. Would do well with strong female dog that is his size. Willing to neuter before rehoming.

She is well behaved and a joy to be around. Juno is affectionate, gives kisses and would make a wonderful family dog or companion. Unknown if dog-friendly. She was adopted to a home with a senior dog and, sadly, returned after one day, owner stating that “she seemed to be scared”. Juno never had a chance to decompress and settle in. Meet Achilles! Like so many innocent pups, Achilles was going to be euthanized at the Coachella Shelter because there’s no space. This sweet 11 months old pup was surrendered to the shelter because his family was “moving” and didn’t want him anymore. Sadly, his story is one we hear all the time and we are so sick of it. He lived at the shelter for over 3 months, patiently waiting for someone to save him. Dooms day arrived for him to be euthanized and we saved him in the knick of time. We didn’t want to see another special pup die because of irresponsible people. He’s been in an amazing foster home who has been giving him endless love while he decompresses from shelter life. This Doberman Pinscher Mix is as dreamy as it gets. Achilles is remarkably well adjusted to his new foster home where he’s been described as “happy, loving and energetic”. He loves his foster sister and they instantly became best friends. He loves to cuddle on the sofa with his humans and foster sister. At night, he’s been sleeping peacefully in the bed with his foster parents. When he’s not lounging, he loves to play with toys, go for walks around the neighborhood and car rides. He walks perfectly on a leash which is a huge bonus. When his fosters aren’t home, he is totally content being in his crate. Achilles would be the perfect companion for all different kinds of households. His foster says that “whoever is his forever family will be very very lucky to get him.”

Meet Ddobok💜 He became frightened one day during a thunderstorm and fled his home. Regretfully, Ddobok was involved with a traffic accident and had to visit the animal hospital. While Ddobok was receiving treatment at a hospital, his owners visited Ddobok after a while and gave him up and overturned it multiple times. Eventually they decided to give up Ddobok and he was sent to Adogs Center and now staying with us.😢 Since he has already been abandoned twice, we are looking for a forever family for Ddobok where he won't get hurt any more from people and will enjoy a happy pup life full of unconditional love.🙏 * Separation anxiety: None! * Potty training: 100% outdoor potty! * Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 * No problem getting along with other doggy friends at Adogs Center! *After a car accident, Ddobok had surgery on his rear legs, but he can walk without any difficulty!😊 Needs more rehabilitation treatment though. *Is an absolute lovebug who loves people and doggy friends.😊 Loves any person or a dog near him and is an adorable pup who shows his affection nonstop!❣ * Responds aggressively towards cats. *When he first meets someone, he is hesitatant to approach them but soon he develops into a charming pup who can be extremely adorable to them! * Gets excited when going on walks at first.
