Hi there! My name is Star, and I’m a middle-aged Doberman Pinscher mix with a loving heart and so much life left to share! ❤️🐶
My journey brought me here from Shelby County, where I arrived with my two precious babies because there wasn’t enough space or the medical equipment needed to care for us. Thankfully, we made it to safety, and we were all given the care and attention we needed. My babies have since found their forever homes, and while I’m so happy they have their own families, there’s one little thing missing from my story…

Now it’s my turn to find someone who will look at me and see a wonderful companion ready to fill their life with love, laughter, and loyalty. I’ve been patiently waiting for my special person to come along, and I just know there’s a family out there who needs a girl like me as much as I need them.
Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m a smart girl who knows my basic commands, and I enjoy spending time with my people. I love splashing and playing in the pools, getting out for nice, long walks, and making friends with other dogs. 🌊🐕🌳 Whether we’re off on an outdoor adventure or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon together, I’m ready to make wonderful memories!
But don’t let my love for adventures fool you. I have a cozy side, too! One of my favorite things is snuggling up in soft blankets. Just imagine me curled up beside you after a long walk, enjoying the comfort of a warm home and the feeling of finally belonging somewhere. Doesn't that sound wonderful? 🥰🧸💕
I’ve spent so much of my time being a mama and making sure my babies were okay. Now that they’ve found their families, I’m hoping someone will give me the chance to be someone's special girl, too.
I don’t need the fanciest home or the biggest yard. I just want a family who will include me in their lives, take me on walks, play with me, and save a cozy spot on the couch or a soft blanket just for me.
