Story
Meet Hades Hades is a stunning 2-year-old purebred European Doberman looking for his forever home. This handsome boy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, house trained, and e-collar trained. He is an active, intelligent dog who loves to run, play, and carry around his favorite toys. Hades does well with female dogs and would thrive with an owner who understands the Doberman breed and enjoys an active lifestyle. Hades does have skin allergies that require routine management, including a veterinary injection approximately every 3 months and weekly baths. Other than that, he is a happy, healthy boy who is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Because of his size, energy level, and breed traits, Hades would do best in a home with older children. We are looking for serious adopters with prior Doberman or large-breed experience who can provide the structure, leadership, and exercise he needs to succeed. If you’re looking for a smart, athletic, and devoted best friend, Hades may be the perfect match. Currently being fostered at Beach Dog. If you’re interested in Hades please fill out an adoption application through @naiaspetrescueAugust 18, 2026, 12:17 am

Meet Ruby! a stunning mid-aged Doberman Rescued from an overcapacity shelter during the California fires, Ruby has made the long journey to FL and is completely ready for her fresh start. She is looking for an adopter who understands the breed's natural drive and characteristics, as she deeply relies on that structured guidance to feel secure and truly shine. Ruby is the ultimate sweet, affectionate companion who absolutely adores attention and loves to be close to her humans! Dobermans are “Velcro dogs” so if you’re looking for a forever cuddle partner, Ruby’s your gal. To keep her happy and balanced, she needs a lifestyle filled with both physical and mental stimulation; she is the perfect partner for running or jogging, and she genuinely craves training for mental enrichment and has high food drive so training is a breeze. When it comes to other canines, Ruby is dog-selective, preferring companions that match her size and focused temperament. She is actively learning to trust and open up to making new furry friends at her own pace. If you are looking for a loyal, striking Doberman with a lovable energy and a brilliant mind, come meet Ruby today!

Story
Hi there! I'm Derrika, a sweet 1-year-old girl who was rescued from a local kill shelter by Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I might be a little shy at first, but with some time and patience, I really start to open up! I just need a family who is understanding of this and works with me! I get along great with other dogs, and having furry companions around helps me come out of my shell even more. I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy playtime but also appreciate some downtime to relax. One of my favorite things to do is play outside in the yard-there's nothing quite like the feeling of grass under my paws! If you're looking for a loving companion who just needs a little time to trust, I might fit your family perfect! I hope I meet my forever family soon!

Story
Banana, 9.5 years, is a super sweet, sensitive, playful and loving pup. I started caring for Banana out of the shelter 8 years ago. At that time she was emaciated, suffering a skin disease, shy, suffering PTSD and quiet timid. It took her a week to learn to trust and eat food. In the 8 years we have been together, she has experienced tremendous shifts, through loving attention on multiple levels and some homeopathic remedies. She loves to run and be playful with other dogs. She also loves to bury her snout into you and give and receive love. She gets along well with everyone and has lived with dogs and cats and kids and people her whole time with me. She also appreciates alone time and while she enjoys caressing, getting too close for too long can be too much. An ideal new home would be somewhere with space and other animals I feel. Or at least where she can be taken to interact with other dogs. She has no known medical issues and operates best on a wet food diet.

Story
07/11/26 Our favorite senior bonded pair, Cleo and Milo, are doing wonderfully in their foster home—but they’re still searching for their forever foster home. They’re the easiest, most loving, gentle duo, and they’d be so grateful for a permanent soft place to land in their golden years. They get along great with other dogs and are wonderful with children. Hi! We’re Cleo and Milo. We came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation—over 50 dogs living in one house—until the Doberman Rescue League saved us. They brought us to an amazing foster home where we finally feel safe and loved. Now we’re ready for our forever home. We walk nicely on a leash and can be walked together (though, let’s be honest—we are Dobermans, and lizards and squirrels can be pretty distracting). We’re house-trained, calm, and gentle. We love people, do great with kids, and have so much love to give. We promise to be the most loyal, best friends you’ve ever had. What are you waiting for? Send in an application for us!   06/15/26. We’re urgently looking for a Forever Foster for two wonderful senior dogs who must stay together. Bonded pair Cleo — 10 years old, spayed Milo — 8½ years old, neutered Heartworm positive (currently on a slow-kill treatment protocol) Thyroid levels are elevated (manageable with medication) Our rescue will provide any medications they need while they’re in a forever foster home. These sweet seniors were rescued from a hoarding situation and are now waiting for the love, comfort, and security they deserve. Even with his medical needs, Milo is an incredibly loving dog who deserves the chance to relax and be happy in a safe home. Senior dogs have so much love to give. They ask for so little in return—just a soft place to rest, a gentle hand, and a family to call their own. Please help us give Cleo and Milo the happy ending they deserve. Sharing their story truly helps—it might reach the person who’s been waiting for them all along. We know we’re asking for a miracle, but miracles happen every day in rescue. If you can open your home as a Forever Foster for Cleo and Milo, please submit an application today. Together, we can make sure these deserving seniors never feel forgotten again. ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
