Rescued from a Missouri puppy mill, when Knight first arrived, he was severely underweight and suffering from hair loss due to hyperthyroidism. Thanks to a dedicated medical routine and a lot of TLC, he is now on daily medication, and the rescue staff is proudly supporting him on a true healing. Because the wide-open world is completely new to Knight, he is still quite timid and spooks easily. Things like leash walking used to be terrifying but he is improving daily and is genuinely starting to enjoy exploring the world at his own pace. Knight thrives on predictability and would do best in a calm, quiet, and routine-oriented home that can provide him with the structure, patience, and reassurance he needs to blossom. I get along great with other dogs, and having furry companions around helps me come out of my shell even more. I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy playtime but also appreciate some downtime to relax.
