I’m going to need walks, structure, and someone who understands that a young dog like me needs guidance, not just a yard. With my mix, I’m smart and aware. This adorable spirited little boy and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Barnabas is a gentle little boy, but dose love to run and play with other dogs. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. Experienced owners only. Lucas is 4.5 years old and was surrendered by a family who purchased him as a puppy from a breeder down south. He lived in an apartment most of his life with kids under the age of 5. They ran out of space and needed a foster. I volunteered. I definitely wanted to keep him. He shows signs of previously having been trained. He often walks between my legs while looking up at me to ensure I'm present. He sits, does decent with down/stay w/repeated commands, doesn't lay down really, instead, rolls to back to show you his belly :) He is a doberman. Needy. Clingy. Loves adventures. Is amazing in the car! Wants to be with his human all the time. He is reactive to large male alpha dogs. Has been with small dogs just fine, but highly recommend he's the only pet. He is smart, attentive, eager to learn & please. The right owner would be able to get him to do amazing things! He's playful, loves cuddles, food motivated but waits for your ok. Fenced yard recommended.
