Foley here is a large handsome boy looking for a family. Foley was transferred from another local shelter to broaden his horizons in search of his new home. Foley is a very big boy with a lot of love to give. He is very friendly to people and curious about the world around him. He loves to sniff and walk in the woods on the trails on our property. He is strong on leash and has frequently barked at other dogs that he sees. This just means that he needs some manners training, but in the meantime, he needs someone who is strong enough to hold him. Foley would like to be your only pet. He isn't a big fan of other dogs and is definitely too big, energetic, and prey driven for a cat. He wants to get all the attention!! And along comes Mary, the sweetest Doberman girl you will ever meet. This girl is barely one year old and weighs no more than 45 pounds with a little more healthy weight to add to her previously starved body. Coming to Critter Cavalry Rescue as a stray that was taken to a Tennessee shelter, she stood out with her sweet eyes that just begged you to love her. She has no problems with other dogs big or small, but she does like to chase the cats and they are stressed about this. We are changing her current home to one with no cats and waiting for a family who will nurture her body and soul. She is crate trained, housebroken and has a beautiful spirit that wants to please and love you. Mary the Doberman is ALL LOVE for her humans and will be a 55 girl when at her optimum weight in the next few months. She has no character flaws and is a bright and loving girl that will curl up with you to watch the world go by and to make your life sweeter. We are looking for a fenced yard in her new home. She is 8 months the biggest lover girl ever, breaks my heart to give her away but my mom just moved into a smaller apartment which do not allow animals. She loves walks, playing, sleeping, and she love loves to eat. She is very well behaved sits, lays down, goes to bed, potty trained, and does paw all that. Id preferably like to rehome her somewhere I can visit her every once and a while but the main goal is finding her a forever home. Shes moved around a lot passed couple months and breaks my heart because shes such a great dog. Does amazing with people and other pets. She does need to be somewhere were shes able to be walked at least once a day or have a yard she can run in because she is very energetic but that honestly my only main concern that she's able to get her exercise and wont be crated a lot

Chandler loves, LOVES chasing balls and chewing ropes. He is very vocal, whining and barking when he wants attention or needs to go outside/wants to go run the yard. He was kenneled at the shelter for months before coming to rescue, so he is reluctant to crate at his foster home for long periods of time but is sleeping overnight in a crate for practice. He is an anxious chewer and blanket sucker when inside/crated. He prefers to sleep on a dog bed, couch or the floor. Chandler is being trained with boundaries (baby gates) and does not push open doors or push past people. He knows sit and is easy to walk on a leash. He barks at people and things at a distance but does not show aggression. He is tall and at 2 years old, will not get any taller - which is fine since he is above the breed standard of a Doberman and fitting in the category of a Warlock or King size bred Doberman. He is continuing to gain weight/muscle and last weighed 78 lbs. He could be a 95 lb-110 lb dog. >> He will need a family accepting of his initial anxiety - he barks at new things and people (which is unnerving since he's huge) but will give kisses by the 2nd date or meeting, give 48 hours in a new home before he understands. He is working on house training and socializing. He functions with a puppy brain but is very trainable and eager to please. He will jump on people, he will pull at objects in someone's hand. Chandler Goose will require breed experience to adjust to a new home successfully. !!! He has been slowly introduced to other dogs and thriving in group play. He does well with other big dogs males and females; he wants to play and smell, following the lead of other dogs. He would like dog friends and a yard to play. Due to his size and limited social skills, He should not be exercised at a dog park. He was poorly socialized and was not used to strangers and never had dog friends. He was significantly underweight at 54 lbs and barked at strangers. The shelter staff knew the best way to find the 'right' family for their 'Silly Goose' would be through Rescue. Chandler Goose weighed in at 70 lbs during his rescue intake and was still noticeably underweight with poor muscle tone.
