Foley is a very big boy with a lot of love to give. He is very friendly to people and curious about the world around him. He loves to sniff and walk in the woods on the trails on our property. Foley would like to be your only pet. He isn't a big fan of other dogs and is definitely too big, energetic, and prey driven for a cat. He wants to get all the attention!! Batman is a male Mountain Feist/Fox Terrier mix, born about April 2025. He is sweet and loves people. Batman is neutered, healthy, and quite an easy, agreeable young man. He walks on a leash, is happy in his crate for sleeping, and is doing well with potty training. He knows how to sit and wait politely for his meals. He’s a very cute guy who is on the small to medium size, and is an uncomplicated, issue-free dog who is ready to join a new home. Adoption fee $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. *Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Bambi is a sweet 1 year old mix who loves to go on walks and is hoping for a family that will give him lots of belly rubs. Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters. ##2071710##

Meet Chucky! He`s a smart, active, silly guy who loves training and sniffy walks. Chucky is a foodie, and will happily settle down with a long-lasting chew after a nice walk or game of fetch. He walks great on leash with a harness, and enjoys zooming around our yards with his dog or human friends. Chucky has had mixed experiences with other dogs, and generally does well during supervised play but should ideally be the only dog in the home.
