🐾💕 MEET LONDON! 💕🐾 London is a beautiful 6-month-old, 25-pound Doberman mix who is sweet, incredibly smart, and looking for a special family who can help her continue building her confidence. 🥹❤️ London is a shy, sensitive girl. New people — especially men — can be scary for her, so she needs a family who understands that trust takes time. But once London feels safe, you get to see just how wonderful she really is. 💕 🍂 LOVES playing with leaves 🐶 Loves other dogs 👧 Great with kids of all ages 🦴 Loves chew toys & squeakers 🧦 Has a slight sock obsession 😂 but redirects easily 🛁 Even does great for baths! 😴 Sleeps ALL NIGHT in her crate 👏 Incredible with her crate 🏡 Only ONE accident — on her very first day! Because London is very shy and skittish, there are two things her forever home MUST have: 🏡 A securely fenced yard where she can safely explore, run and gain confidence. 🐶 Another confident dog in the home to help show London that the world isn't such a scary place. These aren't just preferences for London — they are requirements. ❤️ London doesn't need someone to rush her. She needs someone who will give her patience, security and the time she needs to blossom. And with the right family and a confident canine best friend beside her, we think this sweet girl is going to absolutely THRIVE. 🌸🐾 📣 Please SHARE London so we can find the special family she's waiting for! 🐶 Apply to adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog #HappyPawsHaven #MeetLondon #AdoptLondon #DobermanMix #ShyDog #RescueDog #AdoptDontShop #MichiganRescue

Story
**If you are interested in adopting Zeus, please contact Paolo at roz-ross-cabinets@sbcglobal.net ** Zeus is a 10-year-old Doberman who has been with his family since he was a puppy. He’s a loyal, loving boy who truly thrives when he can be the center of attention — the only big baby in the home. Zeus prefers an adult-only household and would do best as the only dog. He does not like children or other dogs, and his reaction to cats is unknown. A few years ago, Zeus had a negative experience when a child jumped on his back and pulled his tail. Since then, he has been uncomfortable around kids. While Zeus has never bitten, he will growl when he feels stressed or unsafe, so a calm, child-free environment is essential. In the right home, Zeus is a devoted companion who wants nothing more than love, stability, and someone who understands his boundaries. His family is making the difficult decision to rehome him as they prepare to welcome a baby and want to ensure Zeus is placed in a situation where he can feel secure and relaxed. Zeus would be a wonderful match for an experienced, adult-only home looking for a loyal companion to spoil and love. ❤️ *This pet is featured through our Pet Re-Homing Program. This is a private pet. Please use your best judgement when deciding to meet. Any questions or comments regarding this pet should be directed to the owner listed. Again, this is not a pet affiliated with Oakland County Animal Shelter. This program was created to help residents of Oakland County needing placement of a loving pet and hopefully avoiding a stressful shelter environment.

Story
Meet Letty — a 6-year-old Doberman with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a spirit that’s ready to shine again. Letty has been through a lot of change lately, but she’s handled it all with quiet grace. She’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people — the kind of dog who leans in for love and gives it right back tenfold. Letty is fully house trained, easy to have around, and has shown nothing but sweetness toward other animals. She’s not destructive, doesn’t bark excessively, and simply wants to be part of a family again. Her hips are a little tender, so she’d do best in a home without many stairs, where she can rest comfortably and move at her own pace. About Letty: - 6 years old, around 74 lbs - Gentle, loyal, and affectionate - House trained and well-behaved - Good with other animals - Calm and loving temperament - Would thrive in a home with minimal stairs Letty is the definition of a good dog — steady, kind, and full of quiet love. She’s ready to find the soft landing she deserves and the people who will make her feel safe, comfortable, and cherished every day. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. Story
Ever wonder what the dog version of a sports model or high-end sports car looks like? Wonder no more. Meet #MADloveMira, a one year old stunner in Iowa.  Mira is athletic from head to toe. Her vertical jump is wild and she shows real promise for scent work or dock diving. Her drive sits in the middle until a squirrel or a ball enters the picture. Then she shifts into high gear. She can handle uneven or unstable surfaces once she warms up. She does well with the other dogs in her fitness class.  Food drive is low. Ball drive is sky high. She will do anything for it. Her recall is solid. She is sweet, people oriented, and getting more confident every week. She has already made great progress with her car reactivity and her dog reactivity. Off leash introductions or calm, stable dogs work best for her. She is okay with kids as long as they respect her space. She allows her foster mom to hug, handle, and settle her, but not the foster’s young son. When she gets excited coming in from play or out of her kennel, she could easily knock small children over.  She struggles with sharing and still carries some insecurity around leash reactivity. She loves her people, but not every person. Too much noise or quick movement makes her nervous. Her head is always checking the environment. The moment she recognizes her people, everything changes. Full body wiggles. Pure joy. Her tail even spins like a little helicopter .Cats are a firm no . She gets angry the moment she spots one. Mira is a sleek, athletic, loyal girl looking for someone who understands her spark and her sensitivities. With the right person, she is pure gold .Please PM Erin Black for more information or apply for Mira at www.madrescueinc.org   *********************************************************************** All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and a six month subscription.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  *********************************************************************** MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
