Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sora is a sweet boy who is looking for a fresh start. He's currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.  Foster-to Adopt is available to ensure we have the perfect match.   Meet Sora — the long-legged, big-hearted boy who is ready to trade his Louisiana shelter past for a loving home of his own.  Sora and his sister, Sabrina, were both on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Louisiana before they were saved by one of our incredible rescue partners. Now, this sweet pair is getting the chance they always deserved: safety, patience, and a future.   Sora is the more confident and outgoing sibling. He is curious, smart, affectionate, and always ready to see what fun might be around the corner. While home life is still new to him, he is catching on quickly and showing everyone just how bright he is. This handsome boy is: • Completely toy-obsessed—stuffies and chew bones are his favorites • Very food- and treat-motivated, which makes training extra fun • Smart, eager to learn, and responsive to gentle guidance • Active, playful, and built for joyful gallops around the yard • Loyal by nature, with those long legs and a heart that seems just as big Sora can get a little bouncy when he is excited, especially with smaller adults, but he is learning how to play more gently and accept correction. He is still figuring out the rules of being a beloved family dog, so he will thrive with people who can offer patience, structure, kindness, and plenty of positive reinforcement.   We do not know what Sora’s mom or dad looked like, but we do know this: he is special. He is the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his goofy enthusiasm, proudly carry around his favorite toy, and grow into the most devoted companion. Sora would love a home with room to explore, a yard where he can stretch those long legs, and a family ready to help him become everything he is meant to be. Could you be Sora’s fresh start?    Sora is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on his puppy vaccines. His adoption donation is $6 00.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2026, 2:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sabrina is a sweet girl who is looking for a fresh start. She's currently with one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.  Foster-to Adopt is available to ensure we have the perfect match.   Meet Sabrina — a sweet, long-legged girl with a gentle heart, a smart little mind, and so much love waiting to blossom in the right home.  Sabrina and her brother, Sora, were both on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Louisiana before they were pulled to safety by one of our amazing rescue partners. Now Sabrina is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family—and she is doing beautifully.   Compared with her more outgoing brother, Sabrina is a little more docile and submissive. She may take a moment to settle in, but once she feels comfortable, her playful puppy side shines through. She has those gorgeous long legs and is expected to grow into a tall, large girl, so she will need a home ready to welcome a big dog with an even bigger heart. Sabrina is already making wonderful progress: • She is nearly fully kennel-trained and having fewer accidents every day • She is highly motivated by treats and food, making her a wonderful student • She is smart, eager to learn, and catching on quickly to home life • She loves the chance to move, explore, and stretch those long legs • She is learning how to play more gently with smaller adult dogs Like many young dogs, Sabrina can get a little bouncy when she is excited. The smaller dogs in her foster home are helping her understand that not everyone appreciates enthusiastic puppy energy—but she is being gently corrected and is learning to be more polite every day. Sabrina would thrive with a patient family who can continue her training, give her structure and encouragement, and provide room for her to gallop, sniff, explore, and simply enjoy being a dog. She has come so far already, and we know her best days are still ahead. Could Sabrina be the sweet, silly, smart girl your family has been waiting for?    Sabrina is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her puppy vaccines. Her adoption donation is $6 00.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Story
Melo has been with us since march I got her from someone who was getting ready to send her to the pound. I have been looking for a dog for a long time and finally thought I found the one. Melo is a super smart sweet girl but she has a lot of behavioral issues. Melo has tore up my carpet my floors she eats everything off the floor or where ever . Melo knows drop it leave it and all the things but she refuses to listen . I work with her everyday for at least 2 hours walking training playing and I’m still not getting anywhere. I am a single mom doing this all on my own so I have to work and I come home and she has tore through my floor eaten things that can potentially be harmful . I can not afford huge vet bills and I know it could happen. I have tried endlessly to help Melo and train her properly I have even gotten outside help and still no luck . So I have come to a point where there is nothing else I can do and she has tore find a new home . Someone who can better suit her needs.

Story
This precious girl named Minnie Mae was saved by our rescue on her last day at a rural shelter that was overcrowded. She is in a very temporary foster situation and looking for her own family. She could also benefit from a long term foster that is equipped to walk her etc. Minnie is not safe at her current foster home as they are unable to walk her and she has gotten away from them at times. She always comes back to their house, but it's not safe for her to be running loose. Minnie Mae is approximately 2 years old and appears to be a doberman/lab mix.Minnie Mae is active and playful and loves to go out for walks and explore in the yard. She also loves car rides. She is 100% house trained and has been good with all people she's met. Minnie loves her toys and will occupy herself, but also needs to get her energy out. We recommend a fenced yard where she can run. Her ideal situation would be with someone who's home alot so they can keep her busy. If interested in FOSTERING or ADOPTING this girl, please contact Julie on 919 624 0059.
