Story
Bear is a phenomenal dog. He’s a two and a half year old chocolate doberman pinscher. I am in the process of relocating and don’t have the ability to bring him with me. I got him when he was around a year old. He is a high maintenance dog so not for the inexperienced. We have 5 dogs currently in the house and Bear gets along with all of them aside from his brother (another doberman we have) He is very loving and also good with children. Dobermans are a very vocal breed, he will bark in a cage, so it would be ideal for whoever adopts him to have the time and ability to spend plenty of free time with him.

Story
This precious girl named Minnie Mae was saved by our rescue on her last day at a rural shelter that was overcrowded. She is in a very temporary foster situation and looking for her own family. She could also benefit from a long term foster that is equipped to walk her etc. Minnie is not safe at her current foster home as they are unable to walk her and she has gotten away from them at times. She always comes back to their house, but it's not safe for her to be running loose. Minnie Mae is approximately 2 years old and appears to be a doberman/lab mix.Minnie Mae is active and playful and loves to go out for walks and explore in the yard. She also loves car rides. She is 100% house trained and has been good with all people she's met. Minnie loves her toys and will occupy herself, but also needs to get her energy out. We recommend a fenced yard where she can run. Her ideal situation would be with someone who's home alot so they can keep her busy. If interested in FOSTERING or ADOPTING this girl, please contact Julie on 919 624 0059.

Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is a 1 year old, approximately 30 lb mixed breed dog with gorgeous Doberman coloring who loves hugs and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast learner (learned the sit command on her first day in foster care), loving all people everywhere, being super silent (still haven’t heard a bark!) and being a cuddly couch potato. She is becoming ever more brave about walking in the city and loves to stop and smell everything! Hazel is completely house trained, has never chewed anything other than a dog toy or treat, and is fine in the crate if her humans are out for a few hours. She loves to please and she loves to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are treats, her Lambchop toy (promptly de-stuffed but still loved), and sitting on the couch (or floor, or anywhere) with her human. She’s happy to just hang out at home but is also down to be your co-pilot on errands or go for a romp in the park. If you're looking for the sweetest, most gentle pup who will greet you with a full body wiggle and a loving lean every time you walk in the door and loves snuggling any time of day she might be your perfect match.  Hazel is currently being fostered in Queens, NY. Her adoption fee is $475. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
