Story
Sissy is a dog that prefers to have someone with her often or at least another dog. She was fine the first 12 months we had her. I moved for work and currently have lived alone for the last 9 months. She has gotten anxiety due to me working 18-hour days and often gone for 1-14 days at a time. During those days gone and longer hours she got stressed from the boarding and various pet sitters. Prior to this though there were no issues and when she goes to the regular sitter's house, the sitter tells me how good she is and has zero problems with her. Just living alone and not home that often is too stressful on her and I feel bad she is left alone so much with a hired person just popping in for 30min or so a day to let her outside. She is about 25-28 Lbs

Story
About Martini Martini is an adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 5 pounds. Despite his small size, his heart is full of love and affection for the right person or couple. Personality Martini is a gentle soul who can be a bit timid, especially around loud noises or sudden movements. Therefore, he would thrive best in a calm and quiet adult-only household. He is not suitable for families with young children, as he tends to get scared easily. Training This little guy is both crate and leash trained, making him a well-behaved companion. He enjoys his walks but is equally content relaxing by your side at home. Background Sadly, Martini's previous owner has passed away, leaving him in need of a new loving home. He is ready to bring joy and companionship to someone who understands his needs. Ideal Home Martini is looking for a peaceful environment where he can feel safe and loved. He would do well with adults who have experience with small dogs or are willing to learn how to care for a Chihuahua. Adoption Details If you're interested in providing Martini with a loving forever home, please reach out to Barking Mad Animal Rescue by filling out the application or emailing barkingmadanimalrescue@gmail.com . They are looking for someone who can offer him the stable and affectionate environment he deserves. By opening your heart and home to Martini, you'll be gaining a loyal friend who will bring warmth and happiness to your life.

Story
BMAR pulled 55 dogs in 1 day that were set to be euthanized in April of 2024. Barney has been mistreated, abandoned and neglected. He had distemper as a pup and was not treated...thankfully the only side effect he has from his death defying ordeal is a pointy head. He arrived after a long transport with a serious flu virus...again, untreated. Very sad...because with medications and vaccines...Barney healed right up and has never been sick again. No allergies, no skin issues...just a healthy happy boy. What a difference it makes to just treat our dogs correctly! Barney is a super friendly dog...he is fine with dogs, cats, people. He is tall and leggy but weighs a light 35 pounds. He is crate trained, house trained, active and yet ready for a cuddle. Not a super barker but he is alert and aware. His mini shepherd heritage makes him very smart and easily learns new routines. He is just a really good boy looking for that perfect home.

Story
Two siblings came in together....abandoned and at a kill shelter. Gentle giants...well, we thought that was awful so a rescue went and pulled those boys to safety and transferred them to us! They have been delightful. Ranger wanders around the whole farm...he watches out for the livestock, plays with the pack dogs, looks for any people hanging out so he can use his wily ways to get a snack! He's friendly and very gentle....just a peach of a big old guy. He's ready for a home and gets along well with anything that comes his wa! Ranger has been here in rescue over a year, he is 2 years old now, weighs 80 lbs and is a very easy keeper. I am sure he is perfect for your home!
