Story
Meet Chandler, a resilient dog with a remarkable story of survival. This courageous canine was discovered in a dire state, starved and abandoned in the county, yet he managed to overcome these hardships. Chandler, at approximately 2 years old, proved his strength by testing negative for heartworm. Chandler has a heart as big as his journey, showering love upon everyone he meets. His affectionate nature makes him an ideal companion for families, as he adores people of all ages, including small children. Chandler has a hearty appetite, with an adventurous palate, so keeping an eye on potential food items is essential. Additionally, he bears a bite wound on his back, suggesting that he may have had some difficult encounters with other dogs. Despite his past challenges, Chandler's resilience, love for people, and his ability to find joy in life make him a special and endearing companion for those willing to give him the love and care he truly deserves.February 20, 2025, 1:58 am

Story
Meet George! He's a 2-year-old Pitbull/Lab mix with the sweetest personality. George loves car rides, playing with other dogs, and meeting new people; he truly doesn't know a stranger. He's up to date on all vaccinations until March 2026 and is healthy, happy, and full of love. I've had George for 6 months and never had a single issue with him, which makes this decision incredibly hard. I'm a full-time college student and can't give him the attention he deserves. Before me, George came from an abusive home, but despite that, he's the happiest and most loving dog I've ever met. George is looking for a forever home with someone who can give him the time, love, and attention he thrives on. He's great with other dogs and people and deserves the best. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will love you unconditionally, George is your guy!! He's been through a lot, but it hasn't changed his big heart. Please reach out if you're interested in giving George a home he needs!

I got Melo a little over a year ago from a friend when he was a new born puppy. He was a commitment I made with my roommates that eventually fell on to just me and I can’t afford him anymore. He is very energetic, very kind, and would never hurt anyone.

Story
Ella is a sweet girl that will thrive around a family and other dogs with plenty of room outside to play and explore. She is great on hikes, enjoys cuddling, and loves being the center of attention. She is slightly jumpy when hearing sudden noises, but she is very quiet and well-mannered. She also has very strong hunting instincts, so hikers and hunters will mesh well with her. Ella was found on the street by a good samaritan and taken to a shelter, where I found her during an adoption event. She was estimated to be about a year old when I received her, so she will be around 2 years old in April.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
(Dino is heartworm positive. We are doing a slow kill method which, after the initial meds, requires him to now have a monthly heartworm pill. This is the only treatment and does not require him to be confined or have no exercise. Any potential adopter would need to agree to that) Do you need a pocket Great Dane to accompany you on your mystery adventures? This Heinz 57 mix (pit and lab?) would be a great family dog or one on one. He'd be perfect for a first pet for a 10-13yo as he loves kids. He needs his own family and has lots of love to give. Considering he's a pup he is very mellow. Does great in his kennel at night, but loves to be nearby. Settles nicely. Dino is very sweet and very smart. He loves other dogs but his play is a bit rough. Cat curious but can chase if they run. He'd need someone at home or can check on him multiple times a day. I have him at daycare 3 days. I don't have the time to devote to him. He will need further training but will do well with it.

Story
We found Geronimo a couple of months ago and my grandma has been keeping him, but she is getting older and I am in college and I want him to be able to get the family he needs that can give him attention and properly take care of him, he is extremely sweet and hyperactive and needs to be outside a lot. He has a tendency to chew whatever he can find so toys help a lot with that. I really do care about him,I only want people who want a family dog not someone who will toss him on the street like the last owners.
