Story
My name is Lawson! I was dropped off during the hottest part of the summer (July 2023) when I was just a puppy! My foster mom took me and my sister in and has been caring for us since. I was neutered this year and I had my rabies vaccination. I am extremely rambunctious! I have learned to settle down and not jump on people as much as I did. I just get so excited! I am around 3 children all the time. I do stay outside in a pen, and my foster mom would love for me to go to a loving home with more one on one interaction. She fosters two other dogs now, and she has one of her own indoors, so her hands are full! If you are interested, please contact her :)

My name is Lainey! I was dropped off during the hottest part of the summer (July 2023) when I was just a puppy! My foster mom took me and my brother in and has been caring for us since. I was neutered this year and I had my rabies vaccination. I have a very loving and milder temperament than my brother, although I do love jumping when I get excited! I get along great with my mom's other foster dogs and pets that I have been around. I am around 3 children all the time. I do stay outside in a pen, and my foster mom would love for me to go to a loving home with more one on one interaction. Story
Radar was a stray that wondered on to our property and took up residence in our barn with the cats. We decided to help him out and started taking care of him. We got his shots, dewormed, and checked out for overall health. To help him get adopted we got him neutered as well. He gets along great with cats. He does not get along with one of my older dogs and why we decided it best to have him rehomed. He is about 1-1.5 years old. He is crate trained, house trained and is a very well behaved dog. He just wants to please those who shows him love.

Rottweiler

Female, Puppy
Senatobia, MS
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Maple was bought from a respected breeder, Mississippi Rottweilers. She was born Nov 7th 2023. Shes a very sweet and loving dog. She needs a bigger yard than the one I have. She has lots of energy. She has been around children and other dogs. She's good with the dogs but she plays rough with kids (never bitten before just knocked them down). She needs a skilled owner that knows how to deal with her energy and breed. I wasn't educated enough when I got her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Dogs will require a fenced yard. For application, go to our website Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org, go to Adoption Info tab and click on Application. For more info, call 662-564-2900. The girls tell me they like the white motley throat marking I have.  I really want a home so I promise I'll work hard to be a good boy if you take me home.  I try to be cooperative with the other dogs at the shelter so would probably get along with your other dogs or cats too.  Call to see me soon by calling 662-564-2900 or E-mail DogsNCats11@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet me. I will need a fenced yard. All our animals have been spayed or neutered and up to date on all preventives and shots and we are microchipped.  Dog adoption fee is $150.00.   Fill out application at Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org and go to Adoption Info Tab.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 16, 2024, 4:21 pm
