Story
Hello, This is Rufus! Sweetest, most loving German Shepard. Unfortunately, he chases our elderly cats and picks on my Great Dane and smaller dog. I believe he just wants to play but he’s just too rough and tumble. He has shown some food aggression. He guards the food bowls sometimes and won’t let my other dogs eat. I’m not sure why as they all have their own bowls and are fed plenty of food everyday. We’ve had him about a year. He’s still very young and playful. He’s never shown aggression to us or our grandkids who come over on weekends. He loves kids and sleeps with my 12 year old granddaughter. He’s very protective and loves us. Honestly, I do not want to find him another home but he is hurting our elderly cats and my Great Dane has sores on his legs and face where Rufus chews on him. Rufus has been neutered and has had his rabies shot.

Story
I rescued Beane in March 2026. I got him up to date on vacs/neutered. He is now 3 years old. He has allergies and requires meds. He gets along with my older dogs for the most part, but has too much energy for them. He can be food aggressive with dogs (not people). He is aggressive towards dogs outside of home or dogs he doesn’t know. I think he would do better as an only dog that gets all the attention. He has a great personality, sweet, funny, and never wants to leave your side. He’d be a great companion for someone who can be home more. He does well with children. The breed requires little exercise and overheats easily. He has no medical issues other than allergies, but is controlled with meds.

Story
Betty is a sweet girl. She is 7 months old. She is wonderful with our other dog, another Great Pyrenees. However, she is large and still growing. My husband and I are older and we have difficulty walking her along with our other dog. Twice I have been pulled down while walking them, and I’m just not able to manage this at my age. We are looking for a safe home for her. Need a fenced yard and room to run. She would be excellent with children. She loves them.
