Meet Echo & Scout — two tiny miracles with hearts bigger than the world 💙🐾 These precious Mini Aussie puppies were born blind and may also be deaf, but don’t let that fool you — they are full of life, love, and pure puppy joy! Echo is especially amazing to watch. Even though he is blind, he stays active and walks around confidently with no issues at all. It is simply incredible to see how well he navigates his world! He loves playing with his two siblings, enjoys his toys, and eats and drinks great. When he thinks he’s alone, he’ll let out the sweetest little whine just to make sure his people are nearby. 🥹 Scout is just as incredible. He is active and wanders around the house with no issues, even though he is blind — simply amazing! 😊 He loves playing with his two siblings, enjoys his toys, and is eating and drinking well. Like Echo, he is currently being trained to use pee pads, and we are also acclimating him to potty outside. Both boys are smart, adaptable, and eager to learn. They are already proving that being blind does not slow them down one bit. Their parents are beautiful merles around 12 pounds, so Echo and Scout are expected to stay small — perfect lap-sized companions who will bond deeply with their humans. Special needs puppies often form the strongest connections, and these two are no exception. They may not see the world the way we do, but they feel love in the biggest way. They’ll be available soon through Tired Dog Rescue in Gulfport, MS, and will be looking for patient, loving homes ready to help them continue to thrive. If you’re ready to open your heart to something truly special, Echo & Scout are ready to fill your life with unconditional love. 🐶✨ Special needs. Extra love included.

Story
Meet Indica — a beautiful grey and white Pit Bull with a gentle heart and a love for cuddles. 💕 At around 5 years old, Indica is a calm, affectionate girl who truly enjoys being close to her people. Once she gets to know you, she becomes a total snuggle bug who loves relaxing by your side and soaking up attention. Her quiet, sweet personality makes her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Indica is house trained, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines. She is also on heartworm prevention and receives medication to help with mild arthritis so she can stay comfortable and active. She currently weighs a little over 50 pounds and enjoys a diet of Pure Balance Salmon & Pea recipe. She knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and come when called, and she has great house manners. Indica has never been destructive and has never bitten anyone. While she may be a little barky or nervous when meeting new people or animals, she warms up quickly after a few interactions and shows her loving personality. Indica has previously done well with small dogs and lived in a home with a young child, where she was gentle and friendly. She has no experience with cats and can be a bit nervous around larger dogs, so a home where introductions are slow and thoughtful would be best. Her current situation has changed due to a move and a dominance issue with another dog in the household, and her owner wants to make sure Indica finds a home where she can get the time, stability, and love she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves cuddles, quiet time, and being close to her person, Indica might be the perfect match for you. She’s a sweet soul ready for a second chance and a forever home. 🐾💗 Located near Ocean Springs / Gulfport, Mississippi If you’re interested in giving Indica the loving home she deserves, please reach out to learn more.

Story
Smokie – Gentle Soul, Perfect Cuddle Buddy 🩶 Meet Smokie, a handsome grey Poodle gentleman born on 02/22/2016, weighing 19 lbs of pure sweetness. This mellow boy may be considered a senior, but his heart and his energy are perfectly in tune with his person. Smokie is blind in his left eye and appears to have good sight in his right, but don’t let that fool you it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He navigates beautifully and takes his cues from the energy around him. Calm home? He’s calm. Relaxing evening? He’s your shadow in the favorite chair. And speaking of chairs… if you have one, you may need to scoot over. Smokie firmly believes in shared seating. 🥰 Why everyone loves Smokie: • Loves to cuddle and be close to his human • Calm, gentle demeanor that wins hearts instantly • Potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out • Gets along well with other dogs — even playful puppies • Does great in a crate • Smart, sweet, soft, and incredibly lovable He isn’t very interested in toys (yet), but he enjoys watching his foster sister play. He seems perfectly content just being near his people. Medical Updates: • Currently finishing short-term meds for ear and eye infections • Being treated for tapeworm (first dose given; next dose in two weeks) • Monthly Simparica administered March 2 • Rabies booster scheduled for March 24 • Dental scheduled for April 1 Once he’s officially tapeworm-free, we suspect he’ll happily graduate to full-time bed cuddler status. Smokie is the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention he simply melts into your life and your lap. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a calm spirit and loving heart, Smokie may be your perfect match.
