Story
Spot is a very sweet, loving, and playful 7 month old brindle pitmix. He loves to play fetch but would rather you chase him for the toy than bring it back to you. After playtime his favorite thing to do is lay in your lap or sleep next to you on the couch. He can be skittish around new people but warms up very very quickly. Unfortunately I don't have the space to properly care for him and his siblings so I'm doing my best to find them loving homes. He would love to meet you <3

Story
Roscoe is a 3 year old purebred Siberian husky. He’s up to date on all of his shots, microchipped, neutered, and can carry on a conversation really well. He LOVES to talk and howl. He’s very sweet and loves everyone but he likes to dig, and tries to escape the fence when he’s bored. He’s great with our dog but isn’t the best with cats or smaller animals. I’m not asking for a rehoming fee because I just want him to go to a good home. I would like for someone to take him with another husky or high energy dog and a fenced in backyard. I don’t want to rehome him because he’s been such a sweet boy. We just moved out into the country and he’s been chasing cows and roaming onto our neighbors property several times miles away. I just can’t stand the thought of him getting hurt. We are located in Oklahoma. You are more than welcome to meet him if you’d like.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ruby was like a legend in a rural area south of Weatherford.  She has been seen by many individuals and many have tried to help her but she wouldn't let anyone close to her.  Ruby has been a mother many times and some of her puppies have been rescued. After one of her litter of pups died and our rescue efforts turned to trapping her.  After several days, she was caught and the process of vetting and building trust began.  Although she didn't trust us, she never showed her teeth or growled.  Check out her video to see her personality.  She does enjoy playing now, something that took several months. She is still very shy but has gotten more comfortable with people. She has been in the shelter over three and a half years. She was trapped in Feb of 2020. Looking for a super special home for this girl.  With a one on one situation, we believe that she will build the trust she needs to be a companion.  She does well with other dogs, so a home with another dog might help her adjust as well.  Cats are not her friends.  She will need a secure fenced yard as she is still considered a flight risk.  Micro-chipped Adoption Fee: $150       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 10:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gloria is one of three female pups that were dumped in the country.  Near starving, they found their way to a friendly house and were rescued.   Gloria is the pup that is appearing to be one wanting attention from people.  She follows you around and bumps your hand wanting to be played with or just rubbed on her ears.  Starved from more than food.   We are working on leash training and obedience.  She is smart but just has a lot of energy to get out during our visits.  Lots of potential and such a sweet face.Wisdom Panel DNA testing results: 52% Herding Breeds               48% German Shepherd Dog                 3% Belgian Malinois                 1% Australian Cattle Dog45% Guard Breeds               40% American Pit Bull Terrier                 4% American Staffordshire Terrier                 1% American Bulldog3% Asian and Oceanian                 2% Chow Chow                 1%Chinese Shar-Pei WATCH HER VIDEO BELOW....having fun! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BOBBY SAYS,, "I'M THE CUTE ONE!"   Watch VIDEO below.... These pups were found abandoned under a bridge near Butler Oklahoma.  They are friendly with people and have lots of curiosity and energy.  The Breed best guess is the Mountain Cur  which is listed as a hunting and protection animal.  Their adult size is between 16 and 26 inches and 30 to 60 pounds.  There are stories that when a new territory was being settled, they would take a pregnant Mountain Cur so that the pups would provide protection to the new settlement. Mountain Curs  are not a good choice for those who live in apartments because they require a lot of space and exercise. They’re also very intelligent and often times stubborn. These dogs do best with experienced pet parents who can assert their roles as leaders while being diligent with obedience training.   Mountain Curs, being avid hunters, have a high prey drive and as such, they may not be suitable for families with other small pets or small children The breed is also known for "Extreme Intelligence".  Lots of potential for these puppies!  Needs secure fenced yard.
