All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.    GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.  !!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!       Meet Maggie! Maggie is an estimated 7-year-old Mastiff who landed in an Arkansas shelter after her owner went to jail. She’s already been through so much — right after we picked her up from the shelter and took her to the vet, we discovered she had a life threatening uterine infection called a pyometra. Thankfully we got her just in time, she was hospitalized at our vet and spayed to take care of the infection. She's extremely underweight and so we're working on getting her healthy. She's also postitive for heartworms. It's clear she was neglected for some time.  Maggie has been dog tested and she’s been very sweet. She does well with the other Mastiff in her foster home and the cats as well. Her foster reports she's a pretty easy keeper. She's got a road ahead of her to get healthy, but we're commited to getting here there! She'll be available for adoption once she finishes all of her veterinary care. Hello. My name is Apollo. Here is a little bit about me. I like most other dogs. Kids are my bestie's. I know basic manners, and I am potty trained. I get the zoomies after my morning coffee. My only issue is .... I'm ugly 😭 Or at least my skin is. I got to see the dog doctor and he gave me some medicine. They say that I might have to take it for the rest of my life. I think I could deal with that, as long as I'm not itchy anymore. I really hope it works fast. I'm tired of scratching and hurting. This sweet girl was found wandering in a small town in Oklahoma. She had been spotted in an area for a few weeks so we suspect she was dumped. When no owner was able to be located, a local family got her safely secured in their yard and reached out to find her rescue. Daisy is estimated at 1.5 years old and she's about 115 lbs. She is house trainied, good with free roaming in the home and has already figured out the doggie door! Her foster parents are working on basic manners and she needs basic leash training. She is a friendly girl and your typical velcro Mastiff. Other than a mild ear infection, she appears to be in good health. We treated her for the ear issue and for intestinal parasites and she was thankfully negative for heartworms! Daisy has been good with dogs of all sizes. She loves her toys! She's still very puppy and a little too much for small kids. She would be OK in a home with older kids or an adult only home would be fine too. After being with us almost a year we thought Opal had finally found her forever home but by no fault of her own she was returned only three days after being adopted. This sweet, calm, well mannered, and gentle girl has so much love to give and simply dreams of a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. She longs for a home where she can be the only pet, soft beds, warm cuddles, and days filled with attention, companionship, and joy. Opal has been patient, but her heart aches for the chance to finally have a home where she’s not just another rescue dog, but a beloved member of the family she’s been waiting for all this time. Opal is a 5 year old Mastiff/black mouth cur mix who loves everyone she meets especially kids! She is fully house and kennel trained, knows basic commands, walks great on a leash, and loves car rides! Opal is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and heartworm tested negative. Opal’s adoption fee has been sponsored so she is FREE to a loving home!

Story
Finley is a 6 year old female English Mastiff that weighs 150lbs. She is a gentle giant. She has been raised indoors with a small dog that bosses her around. She is good with other dogs, but has never been around cats. She has been raised with my three boys who are all big. She has only been around a couple of small children and will typically hide in her room until they are gone. She is pretty lazy and likes to lay around and cuddle all day. She will get the zoomies for about 10 minutes and then she needs a nap. She does have bladder leakage and takes medication. As long as the medication is given then there is no leakage. She also has sebaceous cysts that grow on her but are not problematic.
