You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email.  If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com.  If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our page called 'Adoption Info.'  We answer email inquiries daily.    GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.    GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.  !!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!       Meet Maggie! Maggie is an estimated 7-year-old Mastiff who landed in an Arkansas shelter after her owner went to jail. She’s already been through so much — right after we picked her up from the shelter and took her to the vet, we discovered she had a life threatening uterine infection called a pyometra. Thankfully we got her just in time, she was hospitalized at our vet and spayed to take care of the infection. She's extremely underweight and so we're working on getting her healthy. She's also postitive for heartworms. It's clear she was neglected for some time.  Maggie has been dog tested and she’s been very sweet. She does well with the other Mastiff in her foster home and the cats as well. Her foster reports she's a pretty easy keeper. She's got a road ahead of her to get healthy, but we're commited to getting here there! She'll be available for adoption once she finishes all of her veterinary care. Hello. My name is Apollo. Here is a little bit about me. I like most other dogs. Kids are my bestie's. I know basic manners, and I am potty trained. I get the zoomies after my morning coffee. My only issue is .... I'm ugly 😭 Or at least my skin is. I got to see the dog doctor and he gave me some medicine. They say that I might have to take it for the rest of my life. I think I could deal with that, as long as I'm not itchy anymore. I really hope it works fast. I'm tired of scratching and hurting.
