Story
Charlie was imported from Ireland in 2025 and sold to a detection dog vendor. Unfortunately, he was mistreated and the courts got involved. He was taken from the vendor and sent back to our organization. He was a bit submissive and sensitive when he left but he is more so now. He is living in a foster home now, and once he settled in, he has come out of his shell. He LOVES his crate as it's a safe place for him. He's a quiet boy (no barking) but he's very busy as we would expect from a working line spaniel. He walks in circles in the house sometimes, as well as trots around the yard for a while before he settles down. He's good for a bath and brushing and is good with children (will play fetch with them for as long as they will throw it). He will need someone that's patient and will wait for him to get comfortable in their home. His foster reports he's never made a mess in the house, doesn't chew on things. He will be neutered on June 7.
