Story
Looking for a beautiful dog? How about a smart dog with lots of energy for walks, hikes and play? You’re in luck: Bandit has it all. Besides being gorgeous, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and receiving preventative. He’s an adult with a puppy's playful personality (yes, that means lots of toys to keep him busy, besides an organized plan to make sure he gets plenty of exercise.). He’s smart, affectionate, and loves attention. He responds well to positive training methods and learns fast. He does not do well with cats, but loves people of all sizes.

Story
Walden Rose is a 6-year-old dog that we purchased from a breeder. She is incredibly smart, loving, and full of personality. Her name was inspired by the university I graduated from, as that was the same year I got her. Walden is wonderful with both children and other dogs. She is affectionate, playful, and enjoys being around people. As difficult as this decision is, we are looking to rehome Walden because we will be assisting elderly family members out of town. While her enthusiasm comes from a loving and playful nature, her size and energy level can be overwhelming for elderly individuals. We are looking for a loving home where she can receive the attention, activity, and care she deserves.

Story
We took Sam in a year ago May. His family moved out of state and for whatever reason they left him roaming the community, starving. He is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves all children and gets along perfectly with our other dogs and cats. The problem is as many people have told me he needs a job, like guarding sheep or goats. He can sail over a 38 inch high gate like a deer. When we extended it another foot, he dug under the fence in no time. We put him on a long cable (which Ive always sworn I would never do to a dog.) He was so depressed, he stopped eating. As soon as he got an opportunity, he escaped again. Finally we gave up and decided to let him stay outside our fenced yard, even though we worried that he will get run over or worse. Now our neighbors are complaining because of his barking through the night which causes every other dog in the neighborhood to bark. Sam needs to live in the country with some kind of livestock to guard.
