Our *SUPER*NOVA is aBeautiful, classic Doggo girl, over a year old, healthy, friendly, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, lots of basic training under her belt, adoptions only AVAILABLE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA! Nova arrives with a complete trousseau, including bedding, doggy-wear, toys, bowls, treat bags, and much, much more. We have invested a great deal into this valuable beauty. As you see in the photos, Nova is LOVING and GREAT with well-behaved teenagers, too! While deafness can be a recessive trait for Dogo Argentino: We GUARANTEE that this VERY GOOD GIRL is absolutely not deaf at all. In fact, she can hear a food wrapper anywhere on your property, lol! Food driven and highly trainable. Our rescue will only consider families experienced with Doggo Argentinos/similar breeds. Please do your research before contacting us. While we have no papers on Nova, she certainly APPEARS to conform to the traditional standards of excellence- we have observed many of the traditional genetic, behavioral traits and characteristics of Doggos in this beauty! In fact, ALL THE COYOTES in the neighborhood HAVE MAGICALLY DISAPPEARED because of the personal charisma of Nova's Protection Breed status! ARE YOU the IDEAL home for this highly valuable girl? * You have a very large, (preferably acre or more) fenced yard, * Family member home most of the days, * You’re experienced, committed to continue her positive reinforcement training, * You understand highly intelligent canines, * You understand the needs of working dogs, * You understand this girl is a human-bonded, indoor Family Member, not merely ALSO an outdoor guardian breed. Nova is specifically bonded to humans, not to other dogs or animals. To be considered as the best possible family for Nova, please respond BOTH with a ***cell number*** and provide a specific**** time window*** that our Volunteer Adoption Counselor can call when you are available to answer the phone. We value both your time and ours! Any other information you would like to provide up front will make a huge difference. We look forward to introducing you to your new Charming Girl. Thank you, potential SUPER Nova Family Members!

Story
Brie is active and athletic dog. 90lbs, currently gets exercise 2-3 times a day. Very loving, playful and fun. Brie has been to obedience school, is crate trained, current on all her vaccinations, no health issues. Brie has been with me since only a few weeks old (25lbs when I brought her home). I have a Boxer (f) and they got along until Brie was about 1YO and do not get along ever since. So far Brie is Brie is very protective of the family home and does not tolerate strangers (this is good!) It does take a lot of interactions to be comfortable with welcomed guests. She is good with people in public, a bit weary of children. When on walks, I always give a wide buffer for other dogs and children. Brie is an intact pure bred with AKC/UKC registration.

We have a newborn on the way, and unfortunately will not be able to give him the attention and training needed for him to adapt to having a toddler around since he is a large dog and likes to playfully rough house. He is my buddy and I hate to have to rehome him. He deserves a good experienced owner with a large yard if possible. I provide include a kennel, toys, and food and whatever else helps make his transition smoother. Please consider taking in this loveable lug as all the local shelters near me are full, and I am without much other options.

Story
Sweet Pea needs a foster or foster to adopt in So Cal ASAP. She’s a 1 1/2 year old Dogo Argentino mix. She is very sweet dog. She does seem to be deaf or at least have selective hearing. She does need some time to adjust in a new home, but she loves people and seems non reactive with other dogs and cats. She can escape a fenced yard, so she will need to be kept inside unless you're outside with her. She's pretty good in a crate and we can provide one for a foster to use. She still needs to be spayed. That is included in her adoption. She loves the car and is pretty good on leash. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $400 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Please apply here to adopt: Adoption Application or to foster apply here: Foster Application Thank you!

Story
Hi, this is Sebastian he is a full breed boxer and he is 2 years old. He’s very social and loves attention and hugs. He has grown up around his 2 other brothers from same litter but unfortunately due to moving I cannot keep him. He’s very friendly and loves to run and play catch. He loves making friends at the dog park. He has a great personality and we are so sad to have to see him go. He need’s special attention to his diet because he’s allergic to chicken and eats a salmon & rice blend dog food. Also he has sensitive skin due to these food allergies. He’s the smallest out of all his brothers I’d say he weighs low 60’s lbs! He is microchipped and he is fixed. With up to date shots!

Story
We've owned Jax since he was a small puppy (Fall of '22), and bought him from family friends who had bought his sister. He is a fun and playful dog who loves to run and play, but also loves to cuddle and relax :) He is a good guard dog and loves to be "heard", which means he likes to bark. He has a bark collar that you can have that helps curb that. We have three children and he is great with kids and is very protective of his "family". We are also re-homing his "brother", Moose, who is an almost 3yr old Pitsky; and they get along splendidly. We would love both dogs to go to the same family, but understand if thats not feasible. The reason we're rehoming is because having 2 medium/large dogs need a larger yard where they can run, dig, and play; and our busy schedules with work, school, sports, etc has increased this year to the point where they need more focus and attention which we can't provide them anymore. We want them to go to a loving family with a large yard for them to run :)

How this pet arrived:Galung was brought in by her previous owner on 4/4/24. At SDHS:Galung is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She has been treated by our medical team and is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Galung is a sweet senior who lived in one home for most of her life. She was an indoor/outdoor dog and is used to having access to a yard, so she might not be a good choice for apartment living. She has a few medical issues that we can discuss with you. If you would like to meet this darling girl, grab a leash and collar and visit our Escondido Campus. Primary Color: Brindle Weight: 57.4 Age: 9yrs 1mths 4wks
