Story
Our *SUPER*NOVA is aBeautiful, classic Doggo girl, over a year old, healthy, friendly, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, lots of basic training under her belt, adoptions only AVAILABLE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA! Nova arrives with a complete trousseau, including bedding, doggy-wear, toys, bowls, treat bags, and much, much more. We have invested a great deal into this valuable beauty. As you see in the photos, Nova is LOVING and GREAT with well-behaved teenagers, too! While deafness can be a recessive trait for Dogo Argentino: We GUARANTEE that this VERY GOOD GIRL is absolutely not deaf at all. In fact, she can hear a food wrapper anywhere on your property, lol! Food driven and highly trainable. Our rescue will only consider families experienced with Doggo Argentinos/similar breeds. Please do your research before contacting us. While we have no papers on Nova, she certainly APPEARS to conform to the traditional standards of excellence- we have observed many of the traditional genetic, behavioral traits and characteristics of Doggos in this beauty! In fact, ALL THE COYOTES in the neighborhood HAVE MAGICALLY DISAPPEARED because of the personal charisma of Nova's Protection Breed status! ARE YOU the IDEAL home for this highly valuable girl? * You have a very large, (preferably acre or more) fenced yard, * Family member home most of the days, * You’re experienced, committed to continue her positive reinforcement training, * You understand highly intelligent canines, * You understand the needs of working dogs, * You understand this girl is a human-bonded, indoor Family Member, not merely ALSO an outdoor guardian breed. Nova is specifically bonded to humans, not to other dogs or animals. To be considered as the best possible family for Nova, please respond BOTH with a ***cell number*** and provide a specific**** time window*** that our Volunteer Adoption Counselor can call when you are available to answer the phone. We value both your time and ours! Any other information you would like to provide up front will make a huge difference. We look forward to introducing you to your new Charming Girl. Thank you, potential SUPER Nova Family Members!

Story
We have a newborn on the way, and unfortunately will not be able to give him the attention and training needed for him to adapt to having a toddler around since he is a large dog and likes to playfully rough house. He is my buddy and I hate to have to rehome him. He deserves a good experienced owner with a large yard if possible. I provide include a kennel, toys, and food and whatever else helps make his transition smoother. Please consider taking in this loveable lug as all the local shelters near me are full, and I am without much other options.

Story
Sweet Pea needs a foster or foster to adopt in So Cal ASAP. She’s a 1 1/2 year old Dogo Argentino mix. She is very sweet dog. She does seem to be deaf or at least have selective hearing. She does need some time to adjust in a new home, but she loves people and seems non reactive with other dogs and cats. She can escape a fenced yard, so she will need to be kept inside unless you're outside with her. She's pretty good in a crate and we can provide one for a foster to use. She still needs to be spayed. That is included in her adoption. She loves the car and is pretty good on leash. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $400 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Please apply here to adopt: Adoption Application or to foster apply here: Foster Application Thank you!

Story
How this pet arrived:Walter was brought in by his previous owner on March 1, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Walter, an excitable boy who is eagerly searching for his new home. While Walter may be initially nervous in new environments and around unfamiliar faces, he blossoms into an enthusiastic companion once he forms a connection and his personality shines through when he's with his favorite people. Walter has shown some resource guarding of food in his previous home, so it is important be able to manage these behaviors. Due to this, Walter would do best in a home without young children and without other doggy friends. Positive reinforcement training will be beneficial to refine his manners! Think this enthusiastic and fun loving pup might be the one for you? Make sure to bring the whole family along to meet Walter, and don't forget to bring a leash and collar!
