Biggie is a gentle giant who loves to be around his people. He will happily accept many pets and cuddles all day every day and is looking for someone to give him all the love he deserves. This boy enjoys going on walks and likes to play with a variety of toys. Biggie is not a fan of small children, but would do great in a home with older kids (older teens) and adults. If you think Biggie would be a great addition to your home, please stop by the shelter to meet this lovebug. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 85 Age: 4yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Betty White is around 1 year old, spayed, and has all of her vaccinations.  She was the longest resident at the shelter but a staff favorite because of her calm demeanor.  They said she had the best manners in the shelter and I agree!  So far, she walks well on a leash and gets along well with other dogs.  She is doing well with potty training - no accidents if she is let out regularly.  Does well in a crate.  She is the sweetest, gentlest lady who just wants your love.  She is an excellent, calm cuddler and would be content being a Velcro dog for life.   We are still learning about cats.  She is presently chasing mine and trying to get them if she has a chance, so we are keeping them separated and working on veryyyy slow introductions.  I’m hoping we can get her to lose interest in them because this seems to be the only thing about her that isn’t calm, chill, and gentle.   ##2383221##

Hi. I`m Sid the Sloth. And yes - I`m a dog.I know, I know... the name throws people off. But once you meet me, it makes perfect sense. I move at my own pace(usually slow), I`ve got a goofy grin, and I`m 100% here for the chill life. I`m about 1 year and 7 months old- so basically, I`m in my prime. Still young, still playful, but also very committed to the art of lounging. I`m polite and a total lovebug once I get to know you. My friends here say I`m a healthy pup! I love gentle walks, comfy beds, and humans who understand that not every hero wears a cape. Let`s meet. I`ll be the one chillin` in the corner, smiling like a goofball.

Story
Meet Mr. People Pleaser, Milo IV! This tall glass of Oreo milkshake is 3 years old with a heart of gold as big as his bowling ball head. Milo was found chained and starving in LA after his previous owners abandoned him. He was placed in a kill shelter with only 3 hours left to live. We didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t hold it against him that he was from California, so we rescued him and gave him a big Texas welcome as a foster family. Milo is a gentle soul who aims to please. He loves waving you over and showing off his tummy for belly rubs. This adorable slice of meatloaf enjoys walks in the morning and then snoozing all day. After heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s finished catching up on his Zâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s, he loves catching toys tossed into the air by the children. Milo is submissive and gets along great with our two rescue dogs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s both house and leash-trained. Our dogs claim to have taught Milo tricks, but really the credit goes to Night and Day K9 Training who helped teach Milo sit, stay, lay down, and to wait patiently away from the front door before being released to go on walks. They offer 2 free private lessons to his adopted family to help transition him into his new home. Miloâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s hobbies include car rides and bath time. Yes, he actually hops into the shower willingly and stands there patiently while we shampoo him. Afterwards, he gets the squeaky clean zoomies! This Cookies nâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 Cream dream can be yours! ** Please read to the end to learn how to adopt! Gus is an adorable and affectionate Boxer mix who is eager to find his forever home.  He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him!   He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!!   He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin.  We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less.  He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar.  It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.'  He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return.  He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too ! He is good with other dogs and children.  He's an all-around great dog and has many years ahead to fill your life with love and fun!   If you're looking for a sweet and friendly dog, Gus is the one for you!    Please apply to Foster OR Adopt Brady by completing the online application you will find near his photos on our website,  www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org

Story
Anyone up for some Tea? This sweet and curious girl may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll steal your heart. Tea’s favorite things in life are her ball, yummy treats, and mealtime—so it doesn’t take much to make her happy! Normally a quiet and laid-back pup, she has the cutest little bark when she decides to use it. Tea would do best in a home with older children, as she has a habit of putting things in her mouth like a curious toddler. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll gladly curl up in your lap and soak up all the head rubs she can get. With a medium-to-high energy level, Tea is always up for playtime but also enjoys relaxing with her favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Tea is ready to bring warmth and love into your home! Could Tea be the perfect match for you? To meet Tea, please fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . $295 Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth area Applications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  April 28, 2025, 3:20 pm
