Story
Meet Rose V – the water-loving, toy-tossing, cuddle-queen of your dreams! At around 5 years old and 48 pounds, this quirky boxer mix is the perfect blend of goofy energy and affectionate snuggles. With short fur, adorable ears, and little teeth that sometimes poke out when she smiles, Rose is as photogenic as she is lovable. Her favorite hobbies include splashing in water, chatting with her humans (she’s got a lot to say!), and curling up for some serious cuddle time. Originally raised with small children, Rose sadly lost her home when her family had to move to a pet-free apartment. She’s in great health, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped—ready for her forever home!
Rose has the energy of a pup when it comes to fetch or backyard zoomies, but she’s just as content being your snuggle buddy. She’ll happily entertain herself with a toy, making her the perfect mix of independent and affectionate. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, though we’re not sure how she feels about cats. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard to play in and an active family to keep up with her playful spirit. Bonus points if someone works from home—she thrives with company and is her happiest self when her people are nearby.
Rose is house-trained and knows all the basic commands, plus she follows a cozy bedtime routine like a pro. While the crate isn’t her favorite place due to some separation anxiety, she does best in a loving, stable home with companionship throughout the day. Rose was found wandering the streets, and after some detective work, we learned her previous family had tried to rehome her—but she escaped during a leash handoff. We took her in, but one of our resident dogs struggles with new additions, so we’ve been keeping them separated. Still, Rose adores playing with our other dog and would love a furry sibling who enjoys playtime.
Rose is sweet, silly, loyal, and full of heart. She’s looking for a forever family that will love her endlessly—and in return, she’ll bring joy, laughs, and snuggles galore.
