Story
Kodak is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Kodak (Koko for short) is quick to steal your heart with his puppy eyes. He is a dog who loves the company of people for an overdose of pets and belly rubs, and will seemingly begin to melt into your hands when you're giving them to him. When it's time for some activity, Kodak loves a good walk. He especially loves to keep his nose to the ground to explore, and would love either a backyard or someone who will take him on long walks to take in all the smells. He seems completely potty trained as far as his foster can tell, and has not had any accidents in the house or his crate. Kodak is an easy going guy, he is happy to hang around by himself but will get up to show you how excited he is to see you! He loves a good sniffari adventure and will wait politely by the door until you are ready to leave! On days when you can't be giving him attention, Kodak has done well in his crate and loves a good nap on a soft bed. Kodak can get a little nervous around other dogs, and needs a slow introduction when meeting them. However, he is doing well with the resident dog at his foster home now that they've become accustomed to each other, and they even play the occasional game of tug-of-war with some toys. He's great with meeting new humans too, but we are working on him not jumping since he's just so excited to meet new people, and he also can pull on his leash when he's excited about his walk. Koko would add a ton of love and happiness to any family looking for a furry friend, so reach out to meet Koko today! From Kodak's current fulltime foster: Kodak is a sweetie pie angel baby puppy dog. All he wants in the whole world is a warm couch to curl up on, and a friend to scratch his ears and tummy. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house, sleeps at LEAST 9 hours a night, and doesn’t show any territorial behavior with food or toys. He’s a really easy dog who can go pretty long stretches between potty breaks, and is just excited to see you whenever you stop by. We have loved listening to his little snores and watching his funny facial expressions. If you can lend KodyKat your couch... he’ll be sure to keep it warm and help you create many “Kodak Moments. ATTRIBUTES: Kodak has done well in foster with other dogs but requires a slow introduction with dogs. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
Luke has been part of my life since he was just 3 months old, and hes been a loyal and loving companion every step of the way. Hes turning 1 year old on June 11, and in that short time, hes already made a big impact with his affectionate personality and joyful energy. Luke is a playful and sweet-natured dog who bonds deeply with the people around him. Whether its going for walks, playing tug-of-war, or simply relaxing nearby, Luke is always happiest when hes close to those he loves. Hes gentle, alert, and smart & already responding well to basic commands and eager to learn more, especially when theres praise or a treat involved! Hes not neutered, but hes in great health, and Ive taken care to make sure his needs are met throughout his puppy stage. Life circumstances now require me to find Luke a new home not because I want to, but because he deserves more time, space, and attention than I can currently provide. Luke would thrive in a loving home with someone who can give affection.

Story
* Special Needs Pup* Meet Boo, an adorable 10-month-old Terrier/Boxer mix who is eagerly searching for his forever home! 😍With a sweet and funny personality, Boo is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your life. Although Boo is deaf, this does not dampen his vibrant spirit; in fact, it only adds to his charm and resilience. He approaches life with a playful attitude, proving that nothing can hold him back. Boo communicates in his own unique ways, showcasing his goofy nature and ability to connect with those around him. He loves to engage with his environment, whether he’s chasing after toys, exploring new places, or curling up for some cozy cuddle time. His affectionate disposition makes him a fantastic companion who thrives on human interaction and companionship. Due to some separation anxiety, Boo would do best in a home where someone works remotely or spends a significant amount of time at home. This arrangement would allow him to receive the love and attention he craves. While he's not a fan of being crated, Boo is proudly house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Boo is incredibly adaptable and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal fit for families or anyone looking for a loving furry friend. His playful antics and loving nature create a warm atmosphere, ensuring that your home is filled with joy. Boo is searching for a loving family that will embrace him and help him flourish. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. If you’re ready to welcome a spirited and charming companion into your life, Boo could be the perfect match for you! Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Angel - Angel is about 8-9 years young and 60ish lbs. Angel looks like a Boxer/Bulldog/Terrier Mix (JUST A GUESS). Angel is the sweetest girl ever. Such a loving, calm and gentle soul who did not have the best life before coming to Canines & Kitties Rescue. Angel has overcome all the years of neglect and that caused her to have skin and eye infections. Her skin and eye infections are now fully cleared and her fur has grown back beautifully and she can see the world with those soulful brown eyes. Angel is now ready for her forever home. While we were able to fix the "superficial" things such as getting her skin back to normal and clearing her eye infections, we could not fix her knees. We had Angel's knees evaluated by one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the area and he said she was born with her knees not being in the sockets. She has never known any difference and she is not in any pain. She just has reduced mobility, which she is not at all bothered by. Angel loves to take slow strolls around the neighborhood and in her foster mom's backyard. She is able to sit down, lay down and get back up with no issue. She just walks at a slower pace than most dogs her age. Angel is great with other dogs, people of all ages, but not sure about cats. Angel is looking for a forever home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves and a fenced in yard where she can walk around and sniff and lay in the sun as these are her two most favorite things to do:) Angel is spayed and she is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $300.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
