Story
This is for an experienced owner who knows how to deal with potentially dangerous dogs. He is well trained and I do occasionally take him to work, take him around town and he has been socialized a lot as a young dog. Due to his prey drive needs a home without other animals or kids. He is very mellow at home and likes to be a couch potato most of the time. He absolutely cannot be around other animals and is meant to be a hunter He has a sensitive stomach and does great on Costco turkey grain free kibble but can’t have most dog food. He also takes generic Zyrtec for allergies. It took years to find what works for him and this combo is great and inexpensive. He needs a one person home in a rural area. He will only go to a home that can guarantee he is not going to be around other animals or kids ever. No dog parks. Fenced yard. This dog loves his owners, has some human friends and mostly gets along well with his dog roommate. It will take a special person to get him.

Story
Forever home or foster needed. Say hello to Zen! He is a 2-year-old, 92lb Dogo Argentino. He came to us as a stray from CA and is a little underweight. His ideal weight is 100-105, so he is a big boy! Zen is a loving and sweet pup and will thrive in the right home. He is happy and energetic and will make a great companion for an active and structured home. He loves pets, treats and hanging with his people! We are looking for Dogo or like-breed experienced adopter as he is very strong and does need some training support. He is a big puppy and will need a family that will continue basic obedience. He can get excited and is learning not to jump up. He is very treat motivated and is smart, he will learn quickly with a committed adopter! Zen has been great with all the people he has met in our rescue so far. He can do well with other dogs and will do well in a home that can continue proper socializing. Zen is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

These pups are in Everett, Washington too!

Story
**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetMeet Bounty, a resilient 60-pound female Boxer/Staffy mix who is currently looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Bounty has had a rough start in life, and while she’s made great strides since arriving at the shelter, she’s still on her journey of healing—both physically and emotionally. Despite her past, she’s shown a gentle, soulful side and is learning to trust again. Bounty does well with calm, respectful dogs and would likely thrive with a social male companion who can help her feel secure. She tends to get overwhelmed by young, high-energy dogs and prefers a more peaceful environment. Bounty is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to decompress and feel safe. With time, care, and kindness, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who truly deserves a second chance, Bounty could be the one.

I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi, I’m George (Georgie)!🐶✨ Full-time good boy. Part-time toddler wrangler. I’m a professional napper, expert snack detector, and self-appointed neighborhood squirrel patrol. I live with my 2.5-year-old foster human—he’s sticky, loud, and a little clumsy, but I love him. We’re best friends. I help him eat things he drops (on purpose, I swear), and he helps me sneak onto the furniture. It’s a beautiful partnership. My hobbies include: 🦴 Chewing things that were definitely not meant for chewing 🚨 Barking at absolutely nothing 💤 Dramatic flops in high-traffic areas 💖 Following my tiny human like a shadow with a tail I take my job as emotional support floof very seriously. If you sit down, I will sit on you. If you’re eating, I will stare into your soul. And if you ask “Who’s a good boy?”—spoiler alert: it’s me. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
