He's selective and prefers female cats.   Tommy is also an amazing escape artist, and we want him to be an indoor cat, so it will take a  diligent owner to make sure he doesn't run away. He is a very sweet boy, though, and will sit on your lap for pets, and he also loves to play with toys.  He needs an experienced owner because if he is messed with too much, he will fight back. Things like getting him into a carrier and relocating him by picking him up can be hard if you don't handle him calmly and quietly. Tommy deserves a home of his own. I believe the right person is out there for this handsome boy! He is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative to felv/fiv, and microchipped. Phoenix is a black tuxedo with a beautiful face, white feet and green eyes. One person suggested he looked like Charlie Chaplin with mustache and beard. He is about 12 pounds, neutered and microchipped 9-22-23. Preston was adopted as a kitten by a man that adored him, but recently passed away. He and his brother, Phoenix, have returned to SOS Kitty and get along well with our other rescues, including Kelly the kitten. He loves laps but is less social than Phoenix. For that reason, he can be adopted without his dominant brother. They are used to each other, though, so if you want two cats, they could go for $175 together. Questions? Despite his visual challenges, Benson enjoys his relaxing life. He's looking for a patient and understanding person or family who can provide a safe and secure haven. Benson's Personality: Benson is an affectionate cat who craves attention. He loves being petted and brushed and then will go chill in one of his favorite spots. Currently his favorite spot is a Chewy box that's on its side. He absolutely loves to feel the outdoor air while sitting at the screen door at the front of our house when the weather is nice. Benson meows when he is lonely, wants companionship or food. Special Needs: Having lost his left eye due to glaucoma and having limited vision in his right eye, Benson is mostly blind. A calm and quiet environment makes him feel comfortable and secure.
