Story
Geisha came to us after her 38-year-old owner died from brain cancer. Geisha is big, incredibly soft and a bit shy. She is a black and white tuxedo with funny face. She generally sleeps with me or nearby. She is about 12 pounds and will have her annual check up this month. Once she knows you are her friend, she is loving and not far away. Photos are coming. Contact Susanne at 480-694-9998 if questions.

Story
Dakota is a long-haired grey and white tuxedo sweetheart, who will swipe a treat right out from under anyone if given the chance. She is a sweet, shy, gentle, and reserved cat who enjoys the quiet life, and would love a forever home with other relaxed kitties or alone so long as she has a view with a window, and plenty of pillowy hiding spots around the house. She loves being talked to, playing with string or feathers, and sunbaths by the window. Dakota needs an extra special human who understands that she eats a special diet, and may be slow to open up. Found in a drainage pipe with two kittens covered in mud and with most of her teeth removed later due to dental disease (cured now), Dakota has fought very hard for her place in the world and would love to share it with you.

Story
Cezanne is a beautiful long haired black kitty who is about 5 years old.  Cezanne came into the rescue from a hoarding situation where she and over 100 other cats were all living in a single-family residence. She had been living in this situation for a number of years, possibly since she was a kitten.  She was malnourished and undersocialized when she came into the rescue.  With care and patience she has attained the appropriate weight and learned to accept love and pets, though she still is a little shy.  Changes in environment are scary to her, so upon her arrival in a new home she will need patience and gentleness while she acclimates and grows to understand that she will be safe and cared for. She does well with other cats after a proper introduction, but it is unknown how she does with dogs. Because of her difficult life experiences it is thought that she would not be a good fit in a home with very small children.   This little lady has had a hard life and is looking for someone with patience and understanding that will keep her safe and love her for the rest of her life, and in return she will give you her heart.  Her adoption fee is $80. Story
Hey! I’m Griffin and I’m taking applications for a human servant. My requirements to fulfill this role are pretty straightforward.  I am a very social cat, so you’ll need to be someone that's willing and able to spend plenty of time playing with me, petting me, and interacting with me. I have a long coat, so you’ll need to brush me.  I don’t really need it, as I keep myself well groomed, but I like it, so you’ll have to be up for the task.  I like to get treats every night between 7 and 8 pm, and yes, I can tell time, and I’ll let you know if you’re late. I like cat trees to perch on, and the rope wrapped cat scratchers, so you’ll need to have these furnishings for me. I enjoy looking outside, so access to a window with a sill that I can sit on would be nice, preferably a window that gets some sun because my fur looks beautiful when it’s highlighted by the sun. I would prefer to be the only pampered pet in the house; you won’t need any others as I’m so magnificent.  I do like kids, so it’s ok if you have some of those smaller humans around, as long as they know how to behave around cats (my tail is stunning, and I don’t like it to be messed up).  Also, if you work from home, I like to put in an appearance during video conferences, usually to show off my beautiful floofy pantaloones to your coworkers.  I am neutered, up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.  I did have surgery for a hernia so there’s a scar on my belly from that, but the vet says everything is good now, and that scar is the only flaw in my otherwise perfect self.  My adoption fee is $160. Story
Phoenix, born 7/17/21 (best estimate) got his name because he definitely rose from the ashes of his old life.  Phoenix was rescued from a hoarding house with 102 cats.  All of the cats in the hoarding situation were in varying states of ill health. Phoenix was malnourished and thin, under socialized and very frightened.  It is likely that he came into the situation as a kitten, and until he was rescued, he knew no one other than the person living in the residence.  Understandably frightened and skittish, Phoenix embarked on the journey to his new life through Kneading Kitty’s Rescue.  With the help of his incredibly patient and loving foster, this beautiful boy learned to love and trust again.  Phoenix favorite time is in the morning when his foster mom sits on the floor and he comes for pets and snuggles.  He also gets treats and sweet talk which he rewards with powerful purring.  If treats and snuggle time are late he will talk about it.  Phoenix enjoys chasing a laser pointer and rises quickly like The Phoenix he is named for. He has an adorable tigger-like bounce when he’s playful.  Phoenix also enjoys watching TV..Phoenix gets with the other cats in their fosters home, and hes  very tidy and always uses the litterbox.  Given Phoenix’s background he will need an understanding, cat-experienced adopter who is patient and willing to give the time needed to adjust to a new environment.   A quiet calm home is a must, and we do not believe he will do well in a home with young children.  Phoenix is neutered,  and up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.  His Adoption fee is $50May 28, 2024, 1:25 pm
