I adopted her when she was 3 months old, she was extremely nervous and scared when we went to meet her. I thought she would grow out of it but she has not. She is about 2 1/2 years old and her birthday is in August, she is very sweet when she wants to be and is not aggressive. She loves belly rubs and is only slightly okay and loving when there is only 1 person with her, she is okay with other cats i do have 2 other cats around her age and she does well with them but will be rude when meeting any other cats, she just needs a good introduction period. I would like her to go to a good home and preferably an older person that is by their selves and is okay with her hiding away most of the day.

Rubie is a sweet and social 6 year old domestic longhair with a beautiful creamy orange coat. Originally adopted in Kansas City, she lived in Dallas and now Phoenix (she doesn't love the car but did great on the airplane!). Rubie loves to nap and snuggle and chin scratches are her favorite. While she is very social, she will bite when she is overstimulated, so we don't recommend her for families with young children (recommend children aged 12+).
