In tribute to a beloved volunteer, we introduce Bernadette, a stunning long-haired black feline whose grace and charm honor her namesake's legacy from the SF SPCA. Like the cherished volunteer she's named after, Bernadette radiates the same warmth and kindness, capturing the hearts of all who meet her. Story
We acquired Stella aka (Fur ball) from the San Francisco SPCA when she was a kitten. She is now 3 years old. If she sees a stranger she often runs and hides. She has lived her entire life indoors in an apartment all by herself and me a male. She has never been in the rain and interacted with dogs. We have taken her outside in a car but she will hide under the seat and sweat it out. We have taken her to the park but she slinks down and tries to find a place for cover. She has lived in an apartment so small spaces are fine for her. She likes to be petted but not too much. She is a typical cat who likes to sleep and warmth. She weighs about 8 lbs, but doesn't shed too much.

Story
Lola is a beautiful kitty who is friendly and enjoys being pet.  She is very curious and loves to play.  Lola will be sure to be present when anyone is doing laundry, cleaning or organizing to make sure it is done to her standards.  Lola seems to be comfortable around other cats.  She is currently being fostered with another kitty (Marmalade). They were rescued together and get along well.  She would also be fine as a solo cat in a home since she is perfectly fine having all attention for herself. Lola will also do well in a home with children 10+ who are good with pets. Lola's estimated birthday is August 2021.  Kitty bio #1037RPc-Lo   If you're interested in adopting this or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at http://icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to/.March 1, 2024, 5:32 pm

Story
Luna is a gorgeous, sweet, and very affectionate girl.  She walks right up to strangers with confidence and starts a conversation immediately.  She considers everyone her friend and feels right at home on your lap or rubbing up against your leg.  She is a purr machine and loves to be pet and scratched.  She is a petite girl, about 8 lbs.  Loves to eat but doesn’t overdo it.  Now treats are a different story!  She will gorge herself on those if not stopped J  Luna grew up around many cats but prefers the company of her humans.  She can be territorial so if she goes to a home with other cats, a slow introduction is advised.  She has not been around dogs so that relationship is unknown.  Luna is very comfortable with people of any age.  She loves my teenage daughter and has been around younger children that are gentle and respectful.  Luna is independent and can be alone for several hours, but she would love to have her human with her.  She is not clingy but definitely loves a lap (or laptop) to lay on and make biscuits.  Luna girl is not super active and is selective about toys she plays with.  But once or twice a day, she gets the zoomies and is so funny to watch.  This little girl is one of the best cats you’ll ever meet.  Everyone she meets falls in love with her.  She’s one of a kind. We estimate Luna's birth date to be around January 2022.
