Story
Home to Home Program Contact: dollfacewm@rocketmail.com A family of five 7-year-old cats needs a new home. Their guardian who took them in when the mom cat ran off, had them fixed and kept them as part of his family. A year ago, he lost his wife, and his health is in serious decline. In the best interest of his beloved cats, he has decided to find them new homes. They have only known his home and are devoted to him and vice versa. They are loving cats, albeit a little shy with strangers at the start. And they are good with other cats since they have never been apart. A neighbor is helping take care of the cats. She is the contact for inquiries and adoption. dollfacewm@rocketmail.com The family Butler: Butler is a long-hair Tuxedo, male, fixed. Butler is the only male of the five cats. He’s very loving once he gets used to you and trust is built. He is always looking out the open screened window and will escape if a door is open. But he does want to be back inside the next morning. Kezea: Kezea is a Tortoiseshell kitty. She is 7 years old and fixed. She is vocal and loves to be petted. She has an adorable face and big eyes. Kinzy: Kinzy is medium gray with some white female. She is 7 years old and fixed. She has beautiful eyes. She's shyer than her 3 sisters and her brother. Momma T: Momma T is a Tabby and White female. She is 7 years old and fixed. She is very friendly, and loves being petted. She is very vocal for attention. Jory: Jory has Siamese type markings. She is 7 years old and fixed. She is a little shy but curious and may take a little time to warm to her new family. She has beautiful markings and blue eyes.

Story
Adidas, but more commonly referred to as Addi, is a beautiful long haired black and white beauty. She is also a FIP defeating Baddie! Addi originally came into the IBR fosterhood July 4th, 2024 with her two littermates Vans and Pumas. At 8 weeks they weighed the same as kittens half their age, were suffering from yucky URI's, and scared of the world around them after being scooped off the streets. Over the following weeks the 3 of them gained weight, received medicine for their infections, and soon came out of their shells. It wasn't long until they were all ready to head for adoption! (Or so we thought). 3 days before the shoebox trio were due to head for adoption at Petsmart, Addi started acting off. Her eyes were icky, she was drinking a lot of water, had no appetite, and started walking a little wobbly. It quickly became apparent that Addi's symptoms were quickly worsening, and the rescue acted just as quick. After some consulting with our UCD vet team and other experienced rescuers it was confirmed that Addi had developed FIP. Luckily for Addi our team at IBR were prepared and got her the life saving medication she needed. After a long course of treatment, then a round of observation Addi is now ready to make her mark and find a forever family of her own! Addi was raised in a foster home with other cats, and recently experienced helping raise kittens with her foster family. She wasn't very sure about them at first, but after a while we would catch her covertly playing and grooming them. She has bonded with the adult cats in the household, and will seek them out to sleep and play together. She was raised with two smaller dogs, but is not the biggest fan, and will let them know if they're too close with a quick smack from her paw or a little hiss. Due to the nature of her medical treatment and coming into rescue as a semi-feral kitten, Addi is not super trusting of people when first meeting them. She has bonded with her foster mom, and will allow pets, cuddles, and occasionally being held on her lap. She will tolerate the other human household members, and even occasionally allow some pets as long as they don't rush or crowd her. Addi is EXTREMELY food motivated! She loves treats, and will sing once dinner time approaches. She will zoom from one room to the next while waiting for her nightly serving of wet food. She has also been trained with treats to sit on a scale for weekly weigh-ins while during her treatments, and is extremely smart! Due to her temperament we feel Addi would do best in a low activity/stress household with limited pets and older kids/teens. If you have any questions about Addi, please reach out to our Volunteer team! Gets along with: Cats and Kittens Type of food: Instinct Raw Kibble Salmon Formula, Fancy Feast Wet Food Seafood Formula
