Story
Muffin is a young adult female DMH tabby in search of a new home. She is extremely food-motivated, particularly by wet food, and has the sweetest meow. Muffin can be shy at first and take some time to acclimate, but once she feels safe she is extremely cuddly and will make muffins on you (hence the name) when it is time to rest. She is an indoor-only cat. While she currently lives with two toddlers, she is very fearful of their rambunctious and loud nature. She currently lives with two large dogs and another cat, and has lived successfully with both. Muffin would do best in a quiet, slow-pace home where she can be spoiled and given the attention she deserves.      Apply to adopt here! Online cat application form  Applications are also available on the website  (www.yolospca.org)    It can take up  to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application.   The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. Story
Estimated Birthday 07-01-2025 Okay to live in a home with... KidsDogsCats Physical Description Shifu is a TINY fluffball. Her coat is SOOO soft! She has the cutest white patch on her chest, and ear tufts longer than the eye can see!! Personality Shifu is quite a character. She is sweet and loving, but also a crazy kitten! When Shifu isn’t eating her wet food she can be found at the top of the cat tree sun bathing, or possibly chasing her pom pom balls all over the house! She is quite a good soccer player and enjoys the company of other playful feline friends. She absolutely will need another playful cat in the house to keep her out of trouble! She doesn’t mind dogs, but is quite persistent in playing with them so savvy dogs with cat experience are recommended! She loves to give licks of affirmation and play hide and seek!!! Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My wife has had a serious increase in her asthma condition since Covid and we have tried our best to keep Lilah. Unfortunately, we can no longer handle the medical conditions that her allergies cause with my wife's asthma and cats. She is 12 years old and was found at about 5 weeks old down by the Sac River. We have had her the entire time. Her last shots were in 2021. She is a house cat and does not like the outdoors. We have grandchildren ages 4, 7 & 9 and she has no use for them. She needs an experienced adopter and had a previous male cat in her life that has been gone since 2022. She has been in a home with large dogs, but doesn't care for them much. Unfortunately, she spends most her time sleeping on our bed, which exacerbates my wife's condition. Please let her enjoy her last 7 or more years. Free to a good home with supplies, bedding, litter box, etc...
