      Muffin is a young adult female DMH tabby in search of a new home. She is extremely food-motivated, particularly by wet food, and has the sweetest meow. Muffin can be shy at first and take some time to acclimate, but once she feels safe she is extremely cuddly and will make muffins on you (hence the name) when it is time to rest. She is an indoor-only cat. While she currently lives with two toddlers, she is very fearful of their rambunctious and loud nature. She currently lives with two large dogs and another cat, and has lived successfully with both. She has the cutest white patch on her chest, and ear tufts longer than the eye can see!! Personality Shifu is quite a character. She is sweet and loving, but also a crazy kitten! When Shifu isn’t eating her wet food she can be found at the top of the cat tree sun bathing, or possibly chasing her pom pom balls all over the house! She is quite a good soccer player and enjoys the company of other playful feline friends. She absolutely will need another playful cat in the house to keep her out of trouble! Personality Odysseus is a very curious cat that isnt afraid of very much, he’s extremely curious which has landed him in some pretty awkward positions but will walk right up to my German Shepherds and lick them in the face. He is extremely playful, not only with his brothers and sister but with dogs and humans as well. As playful as he is, he is also an amazing snuggle buddy who will curl up on your lap and fall asleep instantly. He’s not shy in any way and will just follow me around the house, no matter what I’m doing. He would be absolutely perfect for a young girl or boy to grow up with. Personality Lola is a sweet but shy girl, she will play with toys independently but prefers to move about only when she feels very safe. She has excellent house manners and is food motivated to climb a cat tree when her foster is present but will need a quiet and calm home in which to adjust. She's lived with several other foster kittens amongst two foster homes and has gotten along with everyone she's met. She would benefit from a quiet environment with a few humans that are okay with her continuing to be shy and will be patient as she adjusts. It is unlikely she will ever be a lap cat but she's shown herself to be very food motivated and playful around other cats and kittens.  We feel Lola would also make an excellent barn cat / mouser with the right home that will help her adjust to a new environment so she knows where her food and home are.  This kitty has what sort of characteristics? Hi my name is Kitty! I’m an old timer. The shelter told my mom I was 10 years old. Even though I’m old, I do have years left in me! I love to sit at the window and watch the world pass me by and take long naps. I love to be pet, I’ll arch my butt in the air from excitement when you pet me. I currently live with another small dog and cat. I tolerate them, but I tend to hiss at them from annoyance. The cat just continues to try and play with me, but he doesn’t understand I am too old for all that, I love my peace and quiet. My mom is sad to let me go, but she understands that even though she loves me, I need to be an only cat to someone else who will love me as much as she does. I struggle with hairballs. Dang long hair will do that! A little over the counter medicine is needed. Other than that… I’m in great shape!

Apple is approximately 10 years young and looking for a loving home. Apple was found as a stray in a rural area near death covered in foxtails and with a foxtail stuck in her mouth making it painful for her to eat. When she was found she only weighed three and a half pounds! She has since healed from that experience and is healthy and ready for a home. Apple is a gentle sweetheart. She appreciates a soft, gentle touch and will purr and make biscuits when you pet her. She has extra toes on her paws making them look like mitts. She is an adorable, sweet girl who is craving a quiet, loving home where she can be spoiled and enjoy all the love and attention she could ever want. Apple loves being brushed and this is a great way to bond with her. There is so much to discover with this sweet lady. She would love to be your friend and cuddle buddy. Apple seems to do well with other cats, but would appreciate a calm household with cats who will respect her space if she needs it. We do not know how Apple would be around dogs, but if your dog is mellow she'd probably be fine. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
