Story
Hi…My name is Dragonfly. I’m a beautiful long-haired dilute calico with soft pastel colors and an even softer heart. I’m very shy when we first meet, and I will hang back and watch you from a cozy spot while I decide if you’re my person. I promise—it’s not that I don’t care. I just like to take my time and feel safe. Once I start to trust you, you’ll see my gentle side come out more and more. I’m not the type to rush into things, but if you’re patient and kind, I’ll reward you with quiet companionship and sweet moments that feel extra special because they’re earned. Want to know my secret love language? Churu treats. They are the fastest way to my heart and a great way to help me build confidence. An experienced, understanding human who enjoys moving at my pace would be my perfect match.  I will require an experienced adopter willing to take their time with me. ##2306823##

Story
Cosmo was adopted from someone found on Facebook in 2022. He was 6 weeks old when he was given away. He has one eye that is slightly crooked, but it’s not super noticeable. He was fantastic growing up, likes to bite but it’s playful (he doesn’t know how to be gentle though). Once our oldest cat, who was 17 and Cosmo was very attached to, died, Cosmo then started becoming more aggressive with our other cats. They started fighting more and more and got to a point where they genuinely cannot be around each other. Cosmo is typically very loving but he does bite for attention, and he is aggressive with other cats. He will hiss but mostly ignores dogs (unless they are small). He is very vocal, and ignores personal space. He sometimes gets matted in his arm pits. He loves being outside (we used to have a screened pool area and he loved being able to go in and out). He likes to lay on top of air vents in the floor. He is very loved, but fighting with our 3 other cats has caused a lot of issues

Story
Hi! Meet Rune, or Runey as we call him! An anxious loner who would love to find a space he feels comfortable in. He has had to be separated from his siblings for some time, and it's just time he got to stretch his legs and call someone's whole house a home! Runey loves bird watching in open windows and cloud gazing! He loves playing with his toys (but usually when you aren't looking). Things Rune doesn't like; trash trucks, thunderstorms, or basically any sudden movement or sound. What can we say, he's a nervous guy? But with the help of his panic closet, and lots of snuggles he manages pretty well. As for his special needs he does have Feline Herpes, although common, it does present some special needs. he requires eye drops most commonly, but sometimes ear drops. Low stress helps reduce flair ups! He is a long haired guy, and does need a sanitary shave once or twice a year to help manage the butt fluff! Rest assured, he is a champ at taking his meds, and he is good at the vet!

Story
Meet Apollo Long-Haired Tuxedo | Male | 2 Years Old Apollo is a handsome, fluffy tuxedo boy with a big personality. He can be very affectionate and loving, but he also likes things his way. Lifestyle: Apollo is used to being both indoors and outdoors. He will do best in a safe home with a large yard (away from busy roads) where he can come and go as he pleases. Home Needs: He would prefer to be the only cat, as he’s a confident guy who likes to be in charge. Best Match: An adult-only home (no small children) that understands cat body language and respects his boundaries. Apollo is not for everyone, but for the right home, he’ll be a loyal, charming companion who will keep you laughing with his bold tuxedo attitude.

Story
Inka is a lovely 8 year old black female cat. Unfortunately we are unable to keep her as we find we do not have the proper time to take care of her. I believe she needs to be an only cat to be able to truly thrive, seeing how she interacts with our other cat. She is very cute, and while not one for laps she will love to sit right next to you. She loves chasing toys and temptations treats, and goes crazy for a good brushing. The only warning I have to give for her is that she needs her kitty litter to be as clean as possible, or she will find elsewhere to go. It breaks my heart that we can't keep her but I know finding her another loving home, will be best for her and allow her to thrive.

Story
"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal, but we are assisting with placing a pet.  Meet Eloise (Elton)! Eloise is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix with striking green eyes and the most fabulous whiskers you’ve ever seen! This expressive girl is quite the chatterbox — she loves to “talk” and will happily carry on a full conversation if you’re willing to listen. She’s a social butterfly who enjoys being around her people, but she prefers affection on her terms. When she’s in the mood, she’ll soak up the love and attention — and when she’s feeling playful, she may give gentle play bites to keep things fun. Eloise would do best as the only cat in the home or with female feline companions. With the right match, she’ll be a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate queen of her castle. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $150 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.
