Born: April 11, 2009 Adoption Donation: $75 All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. Photo ID will be require at time of adoption. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Hi! I'm named after a goddess, Athena. And it is a fitting name for me. I'm a beautiful long-haired 2 yr. old who is very well-behaved and laid back. I'm super soft and fluffy and I love to be gently petted and brushed. I get along well with other cats, if you have one that could use a friend. I'm very sweet and purr even when my nails are trimmed! I'm a little skittish around young children so would prefer a home without them. I would truly come out of my shell if I had a home where I get plenty of love. And one where they wouldn't mind if I could lay near them when it is sleep time. I do have one eensy weensy flaw. I have a tendency to chew electrical cords. But please don't let that stop you from adding wonderful me to your home!
