Lylla is a 2 year old female DLH cat who found herself here at the shelter as an owner surrender and is now looking for her forever home. She is a sweet girl who enjoys human attention and has lived with dogs, cats, and kids. Lylla uses the litterbox here at the shelter. Her adoption fee is $100 and she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and FELV/FIV negative. For more information and to meet Lylla, stop by the shelter at 802 W. John St. in Yorkville, IL during business hours.

Like his pasta namesake, Manicotti is a soft and gentle soul wrapped up in a cozy little shell. This sweet boy came to us as part of our Pasta Party rescue. He spent time in a loving foster home, where he began to trust and show his affectionate side. With a calm environment and gentle encouragement, he really started to thrive. Since returning to the shelter, though, he’s become a bit shy and reserved again — but we know that loving, confident cat is still in there, just waiting for the right home to bring it out. Manicotti loves finding warm, cozy places to curl up, and he can often be spotted cuddling with one of his Pasta Party friends. He’s happiest when he feels safe and close to those he trusts. He’s looking for a quiet, patient home where he can take his time adjusting and rediscover the comfort and love he once knew. With a little TLC, Manicotti will melt your heart and become the perfect gentle companion.

Meet the season litter- Autmn, Winter, Spring, and Summer! This litter was brought in with their mom, our current resident Jill. They are a shy bunch but have their moments where they can warm up. They love high places or little cubbies to sleep in. They have done great with the other kitties in their rooms and like to play with their roommates. If you are looking for a companion for your other fur baby, these are the perfect cats. They are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, and tested negative for FELV/FIV. You can come in any day from 8AM-12PM to visit!

Acorn is a gorgeous 6-year-old medium-haired black female. She is very playful and loves wand toys. She's very skittish and needs a patient home that can take the time to earn her trust. Once she gets to know you, she enjoys gentle pets. Acorn would prefer other cats that are mellow and gentle. She was also good with the small, older dogs at her foster home. Acorn is not litter-box trained.
