- Magnificent cat who would love to meet you! This cat has tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV attacks the immune system leaving a cat vulnerable to recurrent infections. There currently is no cure for FIV, but infected cats can live fairly normal lives for years. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Casual contact such as sharing food/water bowls, mutual grooming, etc. is unlikely to spread FIV. However, we recommend that this cat be an only cat or live with other FIV+ cats. More info is on this cat's kennel, but if you have questions, please consult your regular veterinarian before adoption. All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: Black Weight: 14.9 Age: 6yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Walnut and Mulberry are Bonded Buddies. They'll be adopted as a pair. This cat is participating in our Camp Purr working cat program, which is designed for feral or semi-feral cats that would be happiest living outside as working cats. Adopters must provide shelter and food/water to these cats year-round and need to be willing to work with our Camp Purr team to ensure these cats are acclimated appropriately and humanely to their new environment. Because these cats are familiar with the other cats they are living with currently, we require that all Camp Purr cats be adopted with at least one other Camp Purr cat. The adoption fee for each cat in this program is just $25, and all cats have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. HOW TO ADOPT: These cats are available by appointment only to ensure our team has adequate time to assist you. To get started, please answer a few questions here and a Camp Purr Counselor will email you soon. Primary Color: Orange Secondary Color: White

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Look at that beautiful face! Cardamom is a unique long-haired solid white boy with piercing blue eyes. His beginnings were humble and humanless. When he first arrived at his foster mom's house, he was terrified. But with a little patience and a lot of love, Cardamom has blossomed into a purring machine. Card, on first meeting, can be very shy but as soon as he realizes he is going to be petted, he melts. He keeps his beautiful coat VERY clean and his tail is best described like a feather duster. Card will definitely require time to acclimate in his new home but his new parent(s) will be richly rewarded with a loyal and sweet fur companion!

Story
Ava is a handsome, affectionate boy with a soft coat, gentle eyes, and a heart full of love. Despite his name, Ava is very much a gentleman—and a truly special one at that. This sweet guy is diabetic, which means he needs a little extra care to keep him feeling his best. But don’t let that scare you—Ava is incredibly patient, easy to handle, and takes his routine like a champ. With the right schedule and a dedicated human, he’ll reward you with endless purrs, head bumps, and quiet companionship. Ava loves calm environments where he can relax, nap in warm spots, and enjoy the simple joys of life. He’s the kind of cat who forms deep bonds and thrives with someone who appreciates his gentle spirit. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion and are willing to give a special-needs kitty a chance, Ava will repay you with more love than you can imagine. 💙🐱 He’s ready to find the person who sees how incredible he truly is.
