Story
Hi! I am Pumpkin, a two-year-old formerly wandering vagabond until my foster mom took me in just before the holidays. As you can see from my photos, I am quite the looker! My foster mom would REALLY love to keep me. But . . . she adopted my older foster sister, Gigi, last year when my foster mom's Dad passed from cancer. Nick, my foster brother (8 years) and Gigi (14 years, deaf, stage 2 kidney disease) don't get along . . . so having me stay would cause a lot of stress for everyone in our house. I have had all of my required vaccines, been microchipped, have flea/tick/heartworm preventive medicine, and a sedative for vet visits. My doctor says I have been spayed, and I am a confident cat and a good patient. I will be bringing a new cat tower, toys, litterboxes, blankets, beds with me. I am an instant pet ready to go for my new adventure!!!

Story
Meet Serafina! A laid back couch potato looking for a home that's equally as chill. She'll greet you at the door any time you arrive home, provide endless support as you carry out daily tasks, and then warm your lap as you wind down for the night! I mean really what more could you ask for? In exchange for such an amazing companion Seraphina asks that she be your one and only, she's not too keen on sharing attention with other felines or canines. To bring home this amazing girl stop in and talk to cat staff. -Good with kids -NOT GOOD WITH dogs, or cats -Age: 4 year old female -Adoption fee: $100 This cat is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold cats and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions you may email cats@adoptapetfenton.com. Cat adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), FVRCP vaccine, FeLV/FIV testing (if age-appropriate), deworming, flea preventative and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
Meet Puddle the senior domestic longhair! We estimate her to be around 10yrs old. Puddle is a very petite girl at 6lbs- she often gets mistaken for a kitten! She spent the first half of her life as a stray outdoor kitty and she is still learning that not all humans are scary. She is looking for a quiet and patient home, where she can live out her golden years! Puddle can take a while to warm up to new people and surroundings and tends to hide when she’s anxious. Once you gain her trust, she is a sweet girl. She doesn’t typically seek out attention, but she does allow her trusted humans to find her and pick her up without a fight. Once picked up, she often melts into your arms. She is overall a very independent girl. She loves relaxing on her cat tower, looking out windows and getting cozy in any dark/confined space she can find. Her current favorite napping spots include closets and sock bins! After catching up on her beauty sleep all day, she always jumps up to the crinkle of her food bag! This girl LOVES food. With her long hair, she does require frequent brushing. She sits very well for this and often falls asleep during grooming sessions. Puddle loves other cats and they tend to make her more comfortable. She is nervous around dogs and children. She would thrive in a quiet household who doesn’t mind a shy grandma kitty! Puddle is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. She also does great at using her scratching posts and litter box. She does have a old (healed) eye wound that needs monitored. She requires no special care at this time but there is a slight possibility it may need removed in the future. Does Puddle sound like a good fit for your family? Reach out for an adoption application!
