Story
I'm not sure if I have ever seen such a perfect kitty. Sterling is so affectionate and so playful and just a joy to have around. It breaks my heart to let him go but that's what fosters have to do. Sterling has been combo-tested, micro-chipped and received all of his age-appropriate vaccines. Sterling deserves a forever family that will love him as much as I do. He is very attached to Raven and they are like brother and sister. If you are interested in this wonderful pair, please go to our website, pohrescue.com, to fill out an application and I will get back to you asap.

Story
We live in an area where people drop off cats that are no longer wanted. Very friendly cat that loves getting petted and loved on. My brother and I decided to name him Puff. Been around our house for almost a month. No signs of it being scared of any other animals except for dogs. Will chill next to a raccoon and possum without a care. I brought him in my house with litter box and Puff does use it.

Story
Meet Posey the 1yr domestic longhair! Posey is a shy but sweet lady. She is a beautiful girl with a fluffy mane, big paws and unique coloring! She has had a rough past and is still learning that not all humans are scary. She was a stray for the first year of her life, but she is very grateful to now be an indoor kitty! Due to her past, she can get nervous at times. When nervous, she tends to hide. It can take her awhile to warm up to new people and surroundings. Once warmed up, she is a sweet girl who enjoys head scratches. She is pretty independent. She loves relaxing on her cat tower, looking out windows and getting cozy in her hidey huts. She has recently learned her love for cuddles with her trusted human. When picked up, she often melts into her and instantly starts purring. We feel like with some more time and patience, she may turn into a big cuddle bug! Posey does great with other cats but is nervous around dogs and children. She would thrive in a quiet household. She needs a patient family who is willing to give her lots of time to warm up and become comfortable. Posey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. She also does great at using her scratching posts and litter box. Does Posey sound like a good fit for your family? Reach out for an adoption application!

Story
Meet Puddle the senior domestic longhair! We estimate her to be around 10yrs old. Puddle is a shy but sweet girl. She has had a rough past and is still learning that not all humans are scary. When nervous, she tends to hide. It can take her awhile to warm up to new people and surroundings. Once warmed up, she is a sweet girl who enjoys head scratches. She is a pretty independent girl. She loves relaxing on her cat tower, looking out windows and getting cozy on the couch. She isn’t much of a cuddler, she prefers to do her own thing throughout the day and catch up on her beauty sleep. However, at the crinkle of her food bag, she is up and ready! Puddle does great with other cats but is nervous around dogs and children. She would thrive in a quiet household. She needs a patient family who is willing to give her lots of time to warm up and become comfortable. If you are looking for a low maintenance kitty, Puddle may be your girl! Puddle is currently underweight. She is working on gaining weight in a safe manner. In the meantime, she needs frequent meals and weight checks until her goal weight is reached. Additionally, Puddle has an old (healed) eye wound that requires observation. Although she needs no special care right now, old eye wounds in cats can turn cancerous, requiring removal. We are hoping this won't be the case for her down the road. Puddle is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped. She also does great at using her scratching posts and litter box. Does Puddle sound like a good fit for your family? Reach out for an adoption application!
