Story
Hi, I'm Hazel! I was originally surrendered to Pet Angel in April of 2017. I was adopted that October and spent the next 6 years with my former owner until August of 2023, when he went into a nursing home and I couldn't go with him. I came back to Pet Angel and am now looking for my forever home to spend the rest of my life in. I am a quiet girl who enjoys hidey holes when people aren't around. When my human friends do come around, I like to crawl into their lap to get my chin scratched. Sometimes, I'll even roll over for a belly rub. I love soft places to lay, like fuzzy beds and warm hidey holes. I enjoy the occasional stick toy, and am a SUCKER for wet food and treats. That's how you'll get to hear me meow- by bringing out the good stuff! Since I have long fur, I need an owner who will brush me regularly. If I'm not brushed, my fur gets matted and that hurts me. I'm very good about being brushed, as long as you will do it! I would do best in a quiet home, where I'm either the only cat or with other quiet, gentle kitties. I would not do well in a loud home with lots of other people or pets around. I wouldn't do good with young children, dogs, lots of visitors, or moving outside the home often. I would be the perfect companion for an elderly person or couple! I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. If you would like to meet me and see if we're the perfect match, please submit an application at https://petangeladoption.com/adopt-a-cat

Story
This is Barbie! Due to an injury in her past, She currently has a handicap and am on the hunt for a family who can accommodate her handicap and allow her to live life to its fullest! Barbie LOOOOVES to talk, and always has something to say to her human friends! She enjoys getting pets more than anything else in this world, and ALWAYS wants you to pet her- and never stop! She loves catnip toys (yeowww bananas are her favorite) and love to bat at stick toys! She love to adventure around, even with her limp! She is a biiiiig fan of wet food and cat treats! She enjoys her fluffy cat beds, and loves to lay inside hidey holes! She enjoy being brushed, and loves to sit on your lap! But watch out, once she's in your lap, you're not allowed to get up! She will yell at you if you try!Barbie arrived to Pet Angel in August of 2023 with a broken hind leg from Genessee County Animal Control. They asked Pet Angel to take her because when She arrived to them with a broken leg, their vet believed she would need that leg amputated and GCAC believed Pet Angel would be more equipped to helping her go through leg amputation surgery. Upon arrival to Pet Angel, she went directly to Pet Angel's vet, who was able to save her leg! Which means, she didn't have to have it amputated! Instead, she had her leg put into a cast where it had to be completely straight as it healed, and was in that cast for a month! But she got to keep her leg, and that made the hassle of the cast all worth it! After the cast was removed from her leg, Barbie went through Physical Therapy at the vet to begin to use that leg again. At first, she didn't put any weight on the once-broken-leg at all, but with time, she began using it again! And that's where her handicap comes in. Right now, Barbie still limps, but does not allow it to limit her life! She jumps up high all the time- and we worry about her when she jumps down! As time goes on and her leg begins to heal, the limp may go away as she regains muscle in the leg. But also, there is a chance that she may have a permanent limp for the rest of her life. So, she is hoping to find a owner who will accept a cat with a limp, and will provide pet staircases in the home so she can still look out windows, lay on the couch, and sleep in bed with you! Barbie does not like other animals, and is looking for a home where she will be the only animal. Due to her handicap, she needs a home with either no children, or children over the age of 12. She is not a normal kitty, as she requires extra care permanently due to her limp. This extra care does not require medication or additional vet visits, just an investment into some pet staircase, a few accommodations made throughout the home, and understanding and compassion by her forever humans. Barbie is fixed, microchipped, up to date on all her shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. Story
Spruce~born~November 2020Spruce is a gorgeous cat. She looks like she is a Nebelung, which is sometimes called a Longhaired Russian Blue.Spruce and Hickory are a bonded brother and sister who were rescued from a hoarding house. Despite that they are very very sweet. They didn't keep birth records in that hoarding house where Hickory and Spruce were first rescued but we think they're siblings or maybe, given how differently they look, half siblings. They definitely consider each other family and we're going to make sure they get to stay together. Spruce is the super-floofy gray girl. She's very chill and loves to cuddle. Humans make the best furniture, right? And give her some head scritches and she'll reward you with her Geiger counter purring. Note: Hickory and Spruce currently live in a foster home with several other cats. Some of them they get along with and some they don't. Our preference is for them to be the only pets in their future home but other situations might work out too. _____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please click on the links below for our:Online Adoption Application: https://paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-form/Details and info on Website: https://paawarren.org/

Doughboy~birth~April 2023Doughboy is one of the lucky survivors of a hoarding house before making it into the rescue. He was neglected, infested with fleas and went times without actual cat food and being fed people food and table scraps. He loves food, treats, toys and loves affection from his caregiver especially at night when he's ready to lay down and sleep.
