Story
Meet Muffin (~6yo orange/white male) and Buffy (~2yo grey female). They are a bonded pair of kitties looking for their forever home together! These two are semi-feral. They do not enjoy meeting new people, but if given time and patience, they develop close bonds with their trusted humans. Muffin and Buffy were originally apart of a large stray cat colony that had to be trapped and relocated. They were going to be fixed and adopted out as barn cats, but Muffin had various health issues that required him to be kept in our care for over a year. Over that year, he grew increasingly bonded to our staff members and turned into a very friendly boy. Now that he is healthy, we are hoping to find him (and his friend Buffy) a loving indoor home with a patient adopter who understands that the relationship will blossom over time! Once warmed up, they are very sweet cats. We do not want to see them having to go back to living outside! Muffin is a large boy at 13lbs. We estimate him to be about 6 years old. He has large tomcat cheeks and the cutest meow when he wants attention. He is shy when meeting new people and often hides until he feels secure. Once warmed up, he is very cuddly. He loves head scratches and always greets his people when they walk in the room. He doesn't love being picked up, but he does tolerate it if needed. He is not much of a player. He much prefers to take it easy- relaxing on his cat towers and comfy beds. He loves other cats but does tend to be quite submissive, which sometimes leads to him getting picked on. His friend Buffy often stands up for him when needed. Muffin does have a few health issues that need monitored. He does have a heart murmur and has been dealing with on/off runny eye issues. He is currently stable with no special care required but may need future vet visits for these things. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and litter box trained. He recently had a dental done as well. Buffy is a petite girl at about 8lbs. She has luscious fur and cute Persian features! We estimate her to be about 2.5 years old. She is the feistier one in the duo and Muffin's calm demeanor often helps settle her nerves. She loves sticking by Muffin's side and they are often found cuddled up next to each other. Buffy still sticks to her feral roots when first meeting new people. She often hisses and keeps her distance. Don't let her fool you, once warmed up she is a sucker for attention and head scratches! She has a playful personality and when she's not cuddled up with Muffin, she enjoys zooming around with her toys. She does great with other cats as well! Buffy is spayed, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and litter box trained. These two would do best in a quiet home. They would not do well in a home with children. They do okay with calm/senior dogs that leave them alone. They are scared around energetic pups. Most importantly, it is crucial that potential adopters have little expectations of them in the beginning. They will most definitely hide until they feel safe in their new home. It is important to understand that this could take months. We have worked very hard with them the past year and seeing their progress has been amazing. We have no doubt they will make great companions to anyone willing to put in the same love, time and effort we did. They are truly great kitties once trust is earned!

Story
Meet Kona! A gorgeous, brown, long haired, female with a spunky personality. Currently Kona is housed in the cat building admin office where she has claimed all of the chairs as hers, and working before showering her with compliments is a cardinal sin. He favorite hobbies include zipping around chasing toys, yelling at her human friends, and attempting to look cute enough for extra snacks (she quite successful at this). With her diagnosis of felv positive Kona must either be the only cat in the home (her love and personality will make up for the lack of other feline companions), or she can be housed with other felv positive cats. To meet Kona and get a better understanding of her diagnosis stop in to meet her and cat staff can give you all the information regarding felv. -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Age: 5.5 month old -Adoption fee: $175 This cat is currently housed at our shelter. Story
Simsim is a gentle, affectionate cat who’s happiest when he’s close to his people. He loves being pet and will gladly settle in for cuddles, soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give. He has a calm, easy presence and enjoys the quieter things in life, like watching the world go by from a window perch. Playtime isn’t really his focus, he’s much more interested in connection and comfort. In a home, Simsim will be a loving companion who brings a peaceful, cozy energy to your space. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be near you, relaxing, leaning in for pets, and enjoying a calm routine together. Simsim isn’t a big fan of brushing or grooming, likely because he came in with some matting, so he’ll do best with a gentle, patient approach as he continues to build positive associations. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly cat who just wants love and a sunny window, Simsim is ready to meet you.

Story
This is Barbie! Due to an injury in her past, She currently has a handicap and am on the hunt for a family who can accommodate her handicap and allow her to live life to its fullest!Barbie LOOOOVES to talk, and always has something to say to her human friends! She enjoys getting pets more than anything else in this world, and ALWAYS wants you to pet her- and never stop! She loves catnip toys (yeowww bananas are her favorite) and love to bat at stick toys! She love to adventure around, even with her limp! She is a biiiiig fan of wet food and cat treats! She enjoys her fluffy cat beds, and loves to lay inside hidey holes! She enjoy being brushed, and loves to sit on your lap! But watch out, once she’s in your lap, you’re not allowed to get up! She will yell at you if you try!Barbie arrived to Pet Angel in August of 2023 with a broken hind leg from Genessee County Animal Control. They asked Pet Angel to take her because when She arrived to them with a broken leg, their vet believed she would need that leg amputated and GCAC believed Pet Angel would be more equipped to helping her go through leg amputation surgery. Upon arrival to Pet Angel, she went directly to Pet Angel’s vet, who was able to save her leg! Which means, she didn’t have to have it amputated! Instead, she had her leg put into a cast where it had to be completely straight as it healed, and was in that cast for a month! But she got to keep her leg, and that made the hassle of the cast all worth it! After the cast was removed from her leg, Barbie went through Physical Therapy at the vet to begin to use that leg again. At first, she didn’t put any weight on the once-broken-leg at all, but with time, she began using it again! And that’s where her handicap comes in.Right now, Barbie still limps, but does not allow it to limit her life! She jumps up high all the time- and we worry about her when she jumps down! As time goes on and her leg begins to heal, the limp may go away as she regains muscle in the leg. But also, there is a chance that she may have a permanent limp for the rest of her life. So, she is hoping to find a owner who will accept a cat with a limp, and will provide pet staircases in the home so she can still look out windows, lay on the couch, and sleep in bed with you!Barbie does not like other animals, and is looking for a home where she will be the only animal. Due to her handicap, she needs a home with either no children, or children over the age of 1
