Story
Make sure you let us know you saw Whiteout on Adopt-a-pet. White Out came to us as a stray so we don't know a ton about her background. She is friendly and very beautiful with her long white fur, we are surprised no one was missing her! While with us she has let us know she does NOT like other cats or dogs, so she is searching for a home where she can be your one and only kitty friend.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Katee is so special, she is the sweetest cat ever!  She was found with another cat (Kadin) wandering outside in Flint. We are so thankful we got her because she is definitely a cuddler and wants a person to love! She always wants to be on your lap or as close as she can get to you.  She loves her food too. She’s good with other cats but we are not sure about dogs.  Katee’s pictures don’t do her justice. Her fur is growing back after being outside and not getting the proper care, but she is perfectly healthy now!  We believe the first person to meet her is going to adopt her, she is that lovable. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete an Adoption Application form which can be found on our website at   www.locrami.com under Forms/Applications.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 14, 2024, 10:17 am

Story
Sweet Willy is the best - he lives up to his name, and is very Sweet! Willy prefers a life of leisure and calmness. His foster parent said that after some acclimation time he started showing his sweet and affectionate side. He enjoys giving kisses, he loves being pet, and is treat motived! He has soft luscious fur and is always down to be brushed. Sweet Willy is a chatty cat and would love to hear all about your day! He prefers to be an only child so he can soak in all the love for himself, he is a very loveable soul! Just look at his adorable little face and squishy belly, how could you resist this gem! Willy will thrive best in a home without other animals and no small children. Sweet Willy does have some anxieties and will need a low stress home, but he will surly bring lots of love and joy into your home! With a senior cat, what you see is, for the most part, what you get when it comes to temperament and personality! Sweet Willy is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes while he looks for his forever home. Don't worry, adopting from foster is easy! Please fill out an application online or call the Adoptions Desk at 734-662-5585 for more information and to set up a meeting.

Story
My name is Nero's Twin and I was born 3/1/23 and haven't had much interaction with humans prior to entering the rescue. I am learning, and come out for quiet, treat time. I am beautiful, with a coat like no other, long muzzle and striking pattern. I will need patience and lots of TLC to adjust to human contact and become a housecat. I am a hider when it comes to humans, sometimes giving a quick, gentle hiss letting you know I'm nervous, before going to a comforting, quiet hiding spot. Although I am part Maine Coon, I'm human dependent for food and INSIDE shelter. Although I've been outside, I MUST be a housecat due to my thick, long coat, inability to hunt and survive outside on my own, and skittish ways. **If you are considering adopting me because of my breed, please know it can take up to 6 months for me to get comfortable in a quiet home. I may never be a lap cat, but more of a night crawler who comes out at night while I adjust. If a social lap cat is your goal, I might not be the right fit. I also might surprise you in time and come out more with calm energy, lots of safe hiding spots, and the ability to come along at my own pace. We are a Christian-based organization with a Mission to improve the lives of cats. We specialize in cats that will bond closely, but would otherwise 'age out on the shelf' because they are shy, or need special understanding. Without it, they would never know the love, safety, and comfort of a furever home. *Please do not adopt if you believe in disciplining a cat, including ‘water bottle training’. We are a behavioral rescue and believe in positive redirection to adjust behavior, rather than punishment with cats.*
