Story
Paprika "Peppy" is a 7YO kitty from Washington Heights. His mom, Kobe, was found by a friend, pregnant, on the streets. When my friend tried returning Kobe, he was turned away due to Kobe's pregnancy. My friend helped her through her birth, then gave Kobe and the kittens to me to keep until they were all adopted. I fell in love with the beautifully unique black/grey kitten whose eyes were the first to open in the litter. Peppy is a good animal who will snuggle you when you're sad or sick. However, he is an anxious kitty who is terrified of new people. He needs a friendly home that will give him the time he needs to warm up and become acclimated. I've been giving him anxiety medication to try and help him through the rehoming process. I've had several new roommates over the years and it has consistently taken about 2-3 weeks for him to learn to love the new people in his life. My fiancé is severely allergic in addition to having asthma so we sadly have to find Peppy a new home.

Story
Stan and Ollie were named after Laurel and Hardy due to their hilarious antics, and they are ready to share their silliness and love with a forever family. Stan and Ollie came to Cameron Animal Hospital as scared, starving kittens. With a few weeks of loving attention (and lots of food!) quickly corrected that. They are approximately 16 weeks old, and are healthy and happy. They are FeLV/FIV negative; they have been fecal tested and prophylactically dewormed; their full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines, their neuters, and their microchips are all included in the adoption donation. Stan and Ollie are very bonded and must be adopted together. They love people, and have wonderful purrs that start as soon as you pick them up. They love to cuddle, both with people and each other, but they also have lots of kitten energy and love running around, chasing one another, and playing with toys. They are good with children, and are good with other cats with slow introductions. They are not good with dogs. Stan and Ollie must be adopted together, and are looking for an active, home that has lots of time to play with them and give them the attention that they deserve. Not good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Coconut is a big handsome boy, and he knows it. Coconut came to Cameron Animal Hospital after his owner passed away, and he has found the change extremely stressful. He is ready for a new home of his own where he can decompress, and be treated like the prince he is. Coconut is approximately 9 years old. He is healthy, FeLV/FIV negative, fecal tested and preventatively dewormed, and has received the full series of FVRCP (distemper) and rabies vaccines. Coconut can sometimes get overstimulated and become reactive; therefore he needs an experienced owner who knows how to read his behaviors cues and help him decompress. Coconut has previously lived with another cat, and it was reported that they got along well. However at the hospital he has found the presences of other cats and dogs to be major stressors. Therefore we recommend that Coconut be an only pet. Due to his occasional reactivity, Coconut should not go to a home with young children. Despite his stress at the hospital, Coconut is friendly and affectionate with people. He enjoys being pet and getting human attention, and he especially likes treats. Do you agree that Coconut is the most handome boy ever? Email CAHadoptions@gmail.
