Story
Meet Lala, the enchanting long-haired tortoiseshell feline with a personality as captivating as her coat. Lala may come off as a bit sassy at first, but once you earn her trust, you'll discover a loyal and affectionate companion who will rule your heart with grace and charm. Having recently raised a single kitten, Lala is now seeking her own kingdom to reign over. She's ready to be pampered as the sole princess in a tranquil home without children, where she can indulge in all the attention and affection she deserves. Lala enjoys being the center of attention and will thrive in an environment where she can be the apple of her human's eye. One of Lala's favorite pastimes is lounging in a sunny window space, where she can bask in the warmth of the sun's rays and watch the world outside. She finds solace in observing the comings and goings of birds and squirrels, making her sunny perch a cherished spot in her kingdom. As for her feelings towards other pets, Lala's royal demeanor suggests she may prefer to be the sole ruler of her domain. While she hasn't expressed a clear opinion on dogs or other cats, she may prefer a kingdom where she can bask in the spotlight without competition. If you're looking for a regal companion who will shower you with love once she deems you worthy, Lala is the purrfect match for you. Come meet this majestic tortie beauty and prepare to be enchanted by her royal presence. Story
Hi there, I'm Jeffrey! Yes, I really am as gorgeous as I look in my photos. I'm all black with fluff in all the right places, with big beautiful green eyes. But it's not all about looks - I have the brains and the purr-sonality as well! I am laid-back and love to chill and watch movies or read my favorite books (right now I'm readying The Picture of Dorian Grey). I'm looking for a companion to watch Netflix and nap with - and maybe you can brush me too? To see more of Jeffrey in action, check out his album here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Dj07peqfwBW9yT6eVr1ApyHSOdMP9Hsj?usp=drive_link This animal is currently in a foster home! Story
A majestic tabby with a lion's heart and a playful spirit. Will he be the king of your heart? Meet Marquise, the dashing tabby with the biggest paws and cutest boots you've ever seen! This young, handsome boy is ready to charm his way into your heart and home. Despite his lion-like appearance, he's a gentle and affectionate boy who loves head bumps and chats away happily. Marquise's long hair recently underwent a stylish shave due to some pesky tangles, but don't worry, it'll grow back even more luxurious than before. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a cat with a fresh new 'do? His exceptional hunting abilities and penchant for play ensure endless entertainment. Just make sure you have plenty of toys on hand, as he's always eager for a game and more treats! Now, Marquise does have a specific request for his forever home: he'd prefer a household without dogs. It seems he had a run-in with a pooch during his stray days, resulting in a little wound that's all healed up now, but he'd rather not relive that experience. However, he seems quite friendly with other cats, so a feline friend could be just the ticket for this charming tabby. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Think you've got the stuff for this fluff?!? Mr. Milo may be a quiet King, but don't let that fool you into thinking he is an independent or lazy Lord because this gentleman ruler is ALL ABOUT the cuddles and lap time. You'd be massively obsessed with yourself too if you looked as majestic as this floofball, so we can't blame him for being a little bit narcissistic (but when you grade on a scale for cats he's actually more Ghandi than Machiavelli)! Milo was adopted from our Northeast Center in the before times of 2019 and was returned to us recently due to his owners travling overseas for the next year (he originally came in as an already altered and microchipped stray a few weeks before that adoption, so it seems like he has a history of unfortunate exile from his kingdoms). Milo prefers a quieter and attentive court, so a home where his disciples have a regular schedule or are home often enough to dote on him will be yield fruitful tidings for all. He has never shared a kingdom with other animals, so we don't know how he would fair in that type of setup. And while he also hasn't lived with children, his calm and social demeanor typically does well with cat-savvy younger kids.  When Mr. Milo came back to PAWS he was in need of a few touch ups, including full mouth extractions due to stomatitis (an inflammatory gum disease) and the removal of a basal cell tumor on his head. His future minions should be prepared for his regular check-ups with your own full service vet while monitoring both issues for any future flare-ups and care, but no immediate care will be needed at this time.    Age: ~8 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A42791 Meet me at: PAWS Adoption Center 100 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 &#226&#128&#139215-238-9901 ext.30 **Our Old City Adoption Center prioritizes appointments made by already approved applicants, but we can accommodate browsers and walk-ins if and as our capacity allows. Story
Penny is a petite sweetie! She is a great companion-- affectionate and will gladly lay on your lap. Penny gets along with other cats and even cat-friendly dogs! She has a great appetite and loves can food and dry. Her coat is still growing in, but she has some areas of longer fur. Penny takes an inexpensive medicine twice a day for an overactive thyroid. It is easy to give as she eats it right in her can food! Penny is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.
