Story
https://www.adoptapet.com/renaissance-cats-rescue-group/adoption-application/ Oreo was left behind, outside in the cold, when her owners moved out of their apartment. Luckily a kind neighbor contacted us. Oreo is now enjoying thevwarmth of an indoor home and has now been fully vetted. She is affectionate and sweet. A little shy at first, likes being petted on a lap, but prefers not to be picked up. Loves to sit on a lap, and is chatty. Oreo has a curly, fluffy black and white tail, and a very silky coat and comes with free vet care to a foster through our "Foster to Adopt" program, within 50miles of our clinic. Contact us for a visit with Oreo today! Our adoption donation is $100 for adult cats. All of our cats are fully vetted and vaccinated before the adoption and we cover vet care for the first year.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Licorice is a gentle soul who would be the perfect companion to a human that wants a quiet pet with good manners. She's athletic, too, and can run like the wind which comes in handy when getting out the way of bigger cats doing zoomies.  Licorice insists on getting to know you before being your best buddy.  Once she does she's not fickle and won't be trying to go home with your friends.  When she purrs you know that you've earned a life long friend.  She has stunning good looks, but will require regular brushing to keep this beauty looking gorgeous.  Licorice is used to the companionship of her feline foster mates and would do best adopted with one of them or in a home with another friendly feline friend.  She has tested Felv/FIV/HW negative, is UTD on vaccines, has been dewormed, spayed and microchipped. An adopter with previous long-haired cat experience and a documented history of annual feline veterinary care is required. Adoption fee is $175.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 1, 2023, 11:13 pm

Story
Charlie Chaplin is the most affectionate Maine Coon/Domestic Long Hair mix boy. He loves to curl on your lap and snuggle. He is playful and enjoys drinking water from faucet, or dip his paw into water bowl. He is only 1-2 years old but already 10 lbs and has more room to fill in and grow. We think he will be a very large cat. He is tall and his long fur and bushy tail makes him very handsome boy. Check out his mustache and long whiskers-what a funny cool looking cat he is! Doesn't he look like Mr. Charlie Chaplin with his mustache?! He is also a head butter, as soon as you meet him he gives head butts to everyone. Charlie Chaplin is a big fluffy lovable boy, outgoing, friendly and a talker. Sort of a clown and a big purr. If you interested in adoption please fill out an Application: http://www.adoptapet.com/cat-chance-rescue/adoption-application/ Charlie is currently in foster home: please contact: 610-324-4726 or catchancerescue@gmail.com Hi my name is Charlie Chaplin, and I have great personality of a very kind, sweet, affectionate boy. I like to be held and picked up and enjoy playing with different toys around the house. I like to be brushed and have a funny, goofy, silly personality of a kitten. Occasionally you can see me sticking my tongue out like while I nap - my foster mom took some pictures of me, check them out here. Ah I am a very goofy boy who will make you laugh. I have a beautiful silky tuxedo black and white fur with a bushy tail. I have big paws, which I use to give hugs. I like to be held and just the most affectionate, sweet boy. I also love sleeping in the bed with people. I am also a very affectionate, social kitty who loves to jump on your lap and purr purr purr. I have typical personality of a Maine Coon: playful, sweet, loving, affectionate, easy-going and I love to cuddle on your lap or in your arms. I am playful, social and I will race to the front door to greet you when you come home! I am very interactive, social and love to be with people a lot, see what they are up to and stick my little nose into everything you do and everywhere you go. I love nothing more than being petted and snuggle. I am a people's cat. So laying curled up on your lap and snuggling is my favorite thing in the world. But since I am still a very young cat I love to play a lot, chasing laser pointer, feather wand, soft little toys and love playing with other cats in my foster home. Maybe you can adopt me and a playmate for me as well, from my foster home? Its always great to have two cats, we will play together, groom each other and can both sit on your lap as well. I am very smart, kind and like to chirp a little bit. I have great funny personality and I am very kind, and sweet like all Maine Coons are. Maine Coon is one of the oldest natural breeds in North America, the Maine Coon is generally regarded as a native of the state of Maine (in fact, the Maine Coon is the official Maine State Cat). I have a kind disposition. I am the best couch/bed buddy. I also enjoy lounging around and my favorite spot is a windowsill where I enjoy looking at birds. I am litter box trained, and have perfect litter box manners! I am trained to use my scratching post and I love it, I use corrugated cardboard scratchers and I love cat tree, if you can get me a nice steady (remember I am a big boy so cat tree has to be very steady) multiple level cat tree next to a sunny window- I will be a super happy boy! My foster mom calls me a “purring machine” as soon as I see people I purr and rub against them to get attention and love! Charlie Chaplin is up-to-date on all shots: Distemper, Rabies. Tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Neutered. Microchip. Dewormed. He is litter box trained, uses scratching post. Contact my foster mom to learn more about me: 610-324-4726 or catchancerescue@gmail.com Adoption Process INCLUDED IN ADOPTION: All out cat(s) and kitten(s) are vaccinated (Distemper, Rabies shots), Spayed/Neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchiped, dewormed and deflead prior to Adoption. Story
I adopted Pepperoni Van Whiskers from PAWS 8 years ago, when he was about 7 years old. Pepperoni loves to cuddle in a quiet spot with an adult, but he does not like children, and in the past several years we have had 4 kids. He's very unhappy with the kids around and pees outside of his litterbox. I can't keep up with the kids and the peeing. I think he would be happiest in a home where he is the only "child" and with someone who has room for more than one litterbox and can handle the peeing if it happens. I do think it's stress induced and that it might not happen if there were not young kids in the home. I love Pepperoni and I love cuddling him, but he is not happy here and this home is just no longer the right place for him. He's been to the vet and there is not a medical cause. (No urine problems, and he had some teeth extracted in case pain was a problem, he eats a calming diet.) I've tried Feliway and it doesn't help. He definitely doesn't like a dirty litterbox!
