Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Snuggles's adoption status with email updates.

Story
ABOUT DOMINO Domino is a gorgeous 5-year-old black and white kitty who came to HAP after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s a delightful mix of sweet and sassy, think “sweet and sour,” but in the most charming feline way! At first, Domino may be a little shy or play it cool, but once she gets to know you, she reveals her affectionate, cuddly side. Just remember, this queen knows her worth and isn’t afraid to set a royal boundary or two. Domino is also quite the chatterbox! She has an impressive range of meows to share her thoughts, whether she’s asking for treats or simply narrating her day. She loves making biscuits, playing with her favorite feather toys, and lounging like the regal kitty she is. Domino would thrive in a calm home with older children who can respect her pace and give her space when she needs it. She’s ready to bring love, laughter, and a touch of cat-titude to a family who will give her the cozy kingdom she deserves! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
Fluffernutter is a gorgeous 14 pounds of muscle. He is an orange and white long-haired tabby boy with a sweet disposition. He is about 1-2 years old and was found hanging around a bar with his brother, Sunbeam. I think he was the bouncer. He loves to keep you warm by laying on your lap while soaking in all the pets. Of course his fur is soft and you want to pet him forever and he wouldn't mind. He likes to play, chasing a ball or wand toy or laser light. He is laid-back and accepting of other cats when properly introduced and does not seem reactive to my calm dog. Children are fine as long as they are respectful. A great addition to any family! Fluffernutter is playing with his foster family. Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. (Foster: Andrea N.). Story
Belle was surrendered to Faithful Friends when her owners suffered illnesses that left them unable to care for her properly. Unfortunately, when Belle arrived she was diagnosed with Diabetes and would require specific care and treatment. Belle is now on a brand new prescription for diabetics which involves an oral pill rather than the typical injections! She is doing well, adjusting to the shelter, and enjoys the company of our staff, and has even become a staff favorite. She takes her meds in her food with no issues and is now stable! This pretty pretty princess is 6 years old, and she is hoping to find her forever family soon. November 4, 2024, 12:42 pm

Adoption Fee Sponsored Foster OR adopter needed Hello, my name is Sunshine, and I'm a 9-year-old good-looking gal. I love people and am very affectionate, and I enjoy relaxing and watching the birds through the windows. I am not fond of other pets because I want to be the center of attention, so I would need to be the only pet. I would also do best in a home without young children. I am on medicine for my Hyperthyroidism, but I am very well behaved if you provide some tasty treats. Let me brighten up your day and come visit me!  July 5, 2025, 9:59 am
