My name is Tiny and I am a shy girl with some special needs. I don't have the best vision or hearing and struggle remembering to use the litterbox, so I need to go to a quiet home with someone that will be patient with me. I take a little longer than normal cats to acclimate to my surroundings, but once I am comfortable, you will see my true colors. I am caught up on my vaccines, spayed, and up to date on my preventative flea medication. Although I may be easily startled and have lots of special conditions, I will be the best kitty I can. Meet Winky Winky is a female gray and white long-haired kitten, estimated to be born on 4/15/2024, so roughly 3 months old. She weighs right around 3lbs and has a vision impairment in her right eye, but it doesn't seem to bother her much. Winky is your typical playful, rambunctious kitten who loves wrestling around with our resident kittens and is always eager to explore. Health-wise, Winky has tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, received her first round of vaccinations, been treated for fleas and worms, and has a negative fecal test. The balance of her vaccinations, as well as spay, are included in our adoption plan. This cat is FIV positive which means that their immune system could become a little weaker than a non FIV cat. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs and is only transmitted to other cats through mating and deep puncture wounds. It is not spread via grooming or sharing food bowls or litterboxes. So as long as they like other cats they can be adopted to a home with them whether the existing cats are FIV or not. FIV+ cats live long happy lives and usually live just as long as non FIV cats.
