Story
Sweet but shy girl. She's attached to her sister Cocoa. 🎉 Meet Our Fabulous Foster-to-Adopt Kittens! 🎉Tiny paws, big personalities, and endless purrs await you!Our friendly, playful young kittens are currently available on a foster-to-adopt basis—meaning you get to welcome them into your home now, with adoption finalized after their spay/neuter surgery. It’s the purr-fect way to start your happily ever after early! But wait—there’s more to love! 😻 Our rescue requires that kittens be adopted in pairs (at a special discounted adoption fee!) or into a home that already has a young, friendly cat. Why? Because Single Kitten Syndrome is real! When kittens grow up alone, they can develop behavioral issues like biting, excessive vocalizing, or difficulty learning boundaries. Having a feline buddy helps them learn how to “cat” properly—and gives you double the cuddles, double the fun, and half the zoomies at 3 a.m. 😅So if you’re ready to double your joy, adopt a dynamic duo, or introduce one of these cuties to your resident feline, let us know! Your new best friends are waiting to pounce into your heart. 💕🐾Apply today and let the kitten chaos begin—in the best way possible! If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Completing a questionnaire on any other website does not submit an application to our rescue, you must complete one on our website. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com

Story
Personality:Veni is a stunning 10-year-old longhaired gentleman with a striking white and black coat. He’s friendly and enjoys companionship, but he does have clear boundaries on what he’s comfortable with. Veni appreciates his space and will let you know when he’s had enough attention, so he’s best suited for a person who respects his cues and enjoys a more independent feline companion. Though he may be a bit particular, once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll happily enjoy your company on his terms.Good With:Veni has always been an only pet and has lived his entire life as the sole focus of his elderly owner’s attention. As such, he would do best in a home where he can remain the center of attention. While he enjoys human companionship, he may not be the ideal match for a household with other pets, especially if they’re overly energetic or pushy. A calm, quiet environment where Veni can maintain control of his space would suit him perfectly. Background:Veni was surrendered to our rescue when his elderly owner moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. He’s had a peaceful life and is now looking for a new, understanding family that will respect his boundaries and allow him to live at his own pace. Veni is a bit of a refined gentleman who appreciates a bit of solitude but is still eager for affection when it’s on his terms.Special Notes:Veni’s ideal home is one with an experienced cat owner who understands that he may need some time to adjust and set the rules of his space. He’s a beautiful, sweet boy who, once comfortable, can be a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a laid-back cat who knows what he likes, Veni could be your perfect match. If you’re ready to offer this handsome fellow a peaceful, loving home, come meet Veni today! If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Courtesy Post! Sammy lives with Phoena. She's a friendly girl. Unfortunately the dogs like to play too rough and the cats are not happy in the home. They are inside cats but currently can go outside at times. Looking for an indoor home for one or both.
