Story
Cosette is a mature lady (approximately 8–10 years old) who embodies everything wonderful about a truly loved housecat. After spending time in foster care recovering from an infected anal gland and some irritation to her bottom, she’s feeling so much better—and her sweet personality has been shining brighter every day. Cosette adores being brushed. Regular grooming has become a bonding ritual she truly enjoys. While her coat still has that classic “older kitty” texture—sometimes a little separated or tousled—it now feels clean, soft, and comfortable instead of oily, and she clearly feels better in her own skin. This girl is all about companionship. Cosette loves company and wants to be near her people as much as possible—sitting close by, hopping into laps once she’s settled, and quietly keeping you company throughout the day. She very clearly was someone’s cherished cat in the past and is used to living life right at your side. At night, Cosette insists on sleeping with you—and she’s an absolute dream about it. She chooses her spot on the bed, stays there peacefully, and won’t disturb your sleep. She comes and goes for litter breaks (now confidently navigating two flights of stairs for some bonus exercise!) and settles back in just as gently. Cosette looks for her person, calls out to check where you are, and will announce herself with the cutest little meow, waiting for a reply before trotting over to be close to you. While you work, she’ll visit your home office, standing on her hind legs to reach for attention, or stretching her paws out mid-pet to politely—but persistently—ask for more love. She is incredibly personable, affectionate, and emotionally connected—a cat who forms deep bonds and simply wants to be loved in return. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will share every part of your day and fill your home with quiet affection, Cosette is ready to take her place right beside you. Meet her at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek. *Please note: we only adopt within Ontario

Story
Felix is a shy old man! He is absolutely one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever met. He is extremely shy though but he absolutely loves to be loved! He’s got quite the motor on him. He is 9 years old so he’s not into playing much and likes to lounge around. He needs quiet home with someone who can be patient with him as he comes out of his shell

Story
Beast is the cutest 2 year old who is very unlike her name…she is one of the sweetest cats I’ve ever met! We always talk about how nice she is, she would never scratch or bite us and she just wants to be pet all day long. She has a funny way of standing on you while she’s snuggling instead of lying down. She’s got the nicest and funniest personality, we love her dearly and we have for the past 3 months since her rescue. But she and my 10 year old female cat do NOT get along. They physically fight and hiss constantly and are both unhappy with the situation. (We’ve tried everything) Re-homing her is one of the hardest decisions I’ll ever make…I would highly suggest her being the only cat in a household or maybe a household with a friendly male cat.

Story
Hello! My name is Peep!I came into the shelter all by my lonesome but got matched up with Static and Lint. We spent time in a loving foster home learning how safe and fun humans can be. I would love to get adopted with Static or Lint. I think living with one of them will help my confidence continue to blossom. I still tend to hide when I feel unsure. I may purr when you sit near me but still feel uneasy about pets. I`m looking for humans who will continue to work with me to help build my confidence and who will stay on top of brushing my coat so I don`t get clumps (since my silly fur does like to clump up into mats).MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be ok. No young children given my timid nature.OTHER CATS: Yes, with a cat who will appreciate a kitten.DOGS: Yes, with a respectful dog. FIRST-TIME CAT OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous cat experience, ideally with timid cats.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. If you think I would make a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello world, my name is Charlotte!I`m a sweet senior lady with a gentle soul and very pet-worthy coat. I enjoy prolonged chin rubs and the occasional calm belly rub too. I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but once I get to know you I LOVE meowing and tapping you with my paw for attention. I also have many types of adorable, loud, raspy, funny meows to greet you when you come home. I`m not a big cuddler, I prefer to rest on a comfy pile of blankets nearby, and I certainly shan`t be carried around! But I bring a lot of love, joy and humour - adopt me and let`s spend the day taking a nap!My new family should know that I have early renal insufficiency, which is very common for kitty-cats my age. My friends at GHS recommend my new family connect with their Veterinarian about how to best care for me long-term, and be aware that they will need to monitor me closely for further senior related issues. While my age may mean I need more care, my heart and spirit more than make up for it!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I could be a good match with older, calm and respectful children.OTHER CATS: I`m in my cat-tirement years and prefer a calm home; I could potentially be a match with a calm and respectful cat after a proper introduction.DOGS: I don`t like the hustle and bustle, so a high energy dog would not make me happy; I could potentially be a match with a calm, cat-savvy dog after a proper introduction.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...FIRST TIME CAT OWNERS: Yes, but experience with senior cats would be an assetACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-mediumIf you think I would make a good match for your home, please click the `Adopt Me` button to apply!
