Story
Journey’s story began on Halloween, when a tiny 4-week-old kitten climbed the front porch steps of an isolated farmhouse — injured, alone, and incredibly brave. With an infected bug bite on his neck and barely any weight on him, it was a miracle he made it there at all. For such a small boy, it was already an epic journey. Now at 13 weeks old and 4 pounds, Journey has grown into the perfect mix of sugar and spice. He loves to play rough — all while purring the entire time — and has endless kitten energy that must be fully burned before he’ll agree to nap. He adores attention, has a confident little personality, and definitely prefers to call the shots. Journey may look like a black cat at first glance, but look closer and you’ll spot his magic &#226&#156&#168 His white undercoat, faint tiger stripes in his tail, and smoky gray ruff reveal that he’s actually a ghost tabby — subtle, mysterious, and absolutely stunning. This brave, playful, affectionate boy is ready to continue his journey… straight into a forever home of his own   Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you would like to have us send an adoption form  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 1, 2026, 12:09 pm

Story
Meet Silkie, a sweet lovebug with a heart as big as his glorious fur. Rescued from a hoarding situation, Silkie’s fur was in rough shape when he first arrived but after a much needed shaved down, he has finally reclaimed his glorious coat! He’s gentle, affectionate, and absolutely ready to start his new life in a home that gives him the love and space he’s always deserved. Despite a heart murmur and some early kidney impairment, this boy doesn’t let anything slow him down—he’s all about love, cuddles, and soaking up attention like a sponge. Silkie is a world-class snuggler who would thrive in a home with another cat friend and adores kids of all ages. If you're looking for a devoted, silky-soft (soon!) companion to fill your days with purrs and affection, Silkie’s your guy—come meet him and let the love begin. If adoption isn’t in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Silkie’s profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!

Story
Say hello to Sunny-D, a gentle, sweet girl who’s looking for a cozy forever home with her beloved brother, Capri-Sun. This loving duo came to the shelter together after their owner could no longer care for them, and while the shelter environment has them feeling a bit nervous, their affectionate hearts shine through once they feel safe. Sunny D is especially comforted by her brother, and the two are truly bonded, relying on each other for reassurance and confidence, so staff would love to see them adopted together. They are front-declawed (with rear claws still intact) and would thrive best in a calm, quiet home where they can settle in at their own pace and blossom into the loving companions they’re meant to be. If adoption isn’t in the cards right now, you can still make a difference by clicking the donate button below Sunny-D’s profile. It would be pawsitively amazing!

Meet Tinsel &#226&#156&#168 Tinsel is a long-haired tuxedo beauty with the silliest little face and the most stunning orange eyes you’ve ever seen. She’s known for always having her tiny tongue sticking out, giving her an endlessly goofy and lovable expression that’s impossible to resist. Tinsel is a total attention seeker and is always looking around for someone to love on her. She adores snuggling and will happily lay next to you—or right on top of you—just to be close. When she’s not cuddling, she enjoys hiding in cozy spots or watching the world go by from the window. With her playful charm, affectionate nature, and unforgettable personality, Tinsel is sure to bring laughter and love into any home. Tinsel would love to go to a home where she will have another cat to play with, or possibly get adopted with her sister Noelle.
