Story
Smokey and Bandit are looking for a quiet home to call their own! Smokey is a senior girl who loves chin scratches and making new friends. She is a very sweet and loving lady and the best momma. Her daughter Bandit can be a little shy but she always makes sure to take cues from mom and is learning how nice people can be. We are hoping for these 2 to get adopted together as they have been with each other for their whole lives. They were sadly left behind when their owners moved. Their adoption fee is $50 which includes both are spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and flea/tick treated. Story
A senior boy looking for a more quiet home. He does not care for the two younger cats we currently have. He also gets anxiously around children. Very loving and affectionate with his owner though, and will want to lay on you the moment you sit down. Would do best as an only cat in a calm home. Unknown if he's good with dogs; has only had one interaction and the dog was scared of him. He's a husky boy and loves treats and cat bisque. He's free to a good home; we just want him to be happy and loved.

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly broken leg that required surgery and a pin in his leg.  The senior couple could not afford the surgery and they were going to euthanize this handsome boy.  Critter Cavalry Rescue paid the $1,000 bill to fix his leg and save his life.  He was worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has been healing so nicely and getting friendlier and snuggly the past 3 weeks since we picked him up from the vet’s office after surgery.  He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please!  He has started walking on all four legs now, but he still travels with a slight limp in his giddy-up.  Thankfully all the nerves in his paw seem to be intact and we marvel at what a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt her; he hasn’t even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Treasure is a beautiful, silly, loving, and snuggly floof who has been waiting too long for a loving, patient adopter to take a chance on her. She was trapped as an older, feral kitten in summer of 2018, and went into foster care. Treasure remained shy and wary, but was adopted and blossomed with her humans and turned into love bug, house cat. A year later, another cat in the home began to bully her. Despite trying different things for about a year, the bullying continued and resulted in Treasure getting stress-induced cystitis, which led her to urinate inappropriately to let her humans know she was in pain. In her best interest, she was returned to her foster home. After coming back, she was fine for a year until one of the kittens in the foster home got older and started chasing her, triggering another bout of cystitis. After trying to integrate her unsuccessfully with a few other kitties, she's since been kept separated and had no cystitis flares. She has really blossomed into a super sweet, snuggly kitty with her foster mom once she was re-acclimated. Once she's comfortable with her human, Treasure's funny and loving personality blossoms and you get to hear her adorable little meows when she's begging for treats or snuggles and see her swoosh her floofy tail at you to ask for back and butt scritches. She loves to snuggle on her foster mom's legs and just hang out on the couch more than anything in the world. She also likes to bat and chase balls around the room when she's in the mood. Treasure needs to be an only kitty to ensure she feels safe and is best suited to a quiet home with no other animals and no small children. She eats a prescription dry food for urinary health and stress, which has helped her. She would do best with an experienced cat owner who is home often and will be patient and understanding to give her the time she needs to acclimate. She's a very special kitty, who deserves a loving, safe, stable home where she can thrive again. Super sweet boy rescued from outdoors as a stray. He is super affectionate and lovable. He loves being petted and will roll over for belly rubs. He loves to talk to you. He is bonded with Miley who was rescued from the same site and they love to snuggle so they will need to be adopted together. A quiet home with a cat savy owner is best so that they can relax and adjust to new surroundings. No dogs please. They should get along with other cats. They may start out a bit timid until they adjust.

Murphy's law! I was just a long haired long dude living on the streets when a Stray Cat Blues volunteer saw that I was meant to be indoors. Now picture me long, lean, and living on the mean streets? I was quickly adopted (cause I am stunningly handsome) but it wasn't the best match for me. My anxiety caused me to eat and eat and within a year of being in my previous home I more than doubled my weight! Now I'm back in my foster care. I'm on a diet and slowly losing the weight. I'm in a room with feline hormone defusers and I'm enjoying my daily cuddles. I will do great in a home with other cats (with a slow introduction). I probably won't work well with children cause see I'm so huge even my foster mom will try to wrestle me like a dog. I am not a dog and prefer head rubs over anything slightly aggressive. Please take my plus size handsome self and give me a gentle home. (Cause I'm a cat not a dog damn it!)

Story
Are you a cat savvy lover of gorgeous long hairs? Silver is a real beauty! She was trapped when she was a youngster at a TNR site in Sellersville. While in foster care, as she recovered from being spayed, Silver showed some promise of being socialized. If there was a chance that this stunning long-haired beauty could become friendly to humans, we had to try to turn her into a happy housecat. No one wanted to see her returned to a colony, especially in the dead of winter! Silver had a lot to learn about people and a life indoors, so she was eventually moved from her foster home to our Whiskers Way Station (WWS) where she could get the one-on-one attention she needed from our socializers. We discovered that she has a playful side and loves to be brushed. She also very much likes having the company of other cats. This lovely girl may always be a little leery of humans, but she has an affectionate side too. We have interacted with her daily. While she has come a long way, Silver hasn’t been able to completely settle in and feel totally comfortable. WWS can get busy at times, with many different volunteers coming and going. To progress to the next chapter of her life, we believe that what she really needs at this point is to have her own patient, loving person in a quiet home of her own. A confident, friendly cat friend may also help her adjust to her new life. She will make a wonderful companion in the right environment. Are you that special person to make Silver’s dreams come true? All you have to do is fill out an application on-line to set up a meeting with Silver. Silver's estimated date of birth is 10/19/2021. Adoption Fee $100.
