Story
Sweet Benny was born on a farm with lots of other cats that were not spayed or neutered. Luckily when they brought him to us he was very sweet and friendly and not skittish or scared. He had a minor eye injury that we treated and it healed very nicely. He has been neutered, is FIV/FeLV negative, litter box trained and fully vaccinated. We believe him to be part Russian Blue, his long coat is very luxurious! Benny is barely a year old and is ready for immediate transport OUR CATS AND KITTENS MUST NEVER BE DECLAWED OR ALLOWED TO GO OUTDOORS, EVER! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Story
Hi my name is Darling Denna and I am about 7 years old and I have found myself looking for a new family because my owner is moving and she cannot take any of her cats. She's looking for a singular cat home with no other cats around but me. I can exist around dogs but I truly do not want other cats in my litter box or eating the same food that I eat or having to listen to them purrrr. I am diva enough and particular enough to want to own the entire house as my Cat Queen Kingdom.  I am a beautiful long hair black and white girl that is as beautiful to look at, as I am to love. I do like to be with you and I  like being loved on, but I will let you know when it is enough and I'm ready to have my 'alone' time. I really am royalty that I would love to come and hold court in your heart and home.  Please contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com to find out all about me.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 16, 2024, 7:14 am

Story
This gentle yet extraordinary boy is called Oscar and he is destined to be the perfect lap cat. He is sweet and kind and is perfectly content spending his day purring in your lap. He loves to play with his sisters, but is always excited for the first excuse to lay down by your side so you can love on him. Oscar is also quite the gentleman and has the dapper look of a handsome orange and white kitten with luxurious long fur.  He is a talker and he will always greet you with a soft and gentle meow whenever you enter a room. His one flaw is that sometimes he can get lost and he will play “Marco-Polo” with you until he finds you— it’s hard being handsome and smart! But when he does find you, be prepared for some ferocious cuddles. He such a well behaved boy and he would make a great addition to a house with another cat or even the perfect only child.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comSeptember 16, 2024, 7:14 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Clair! This DIVA is ready to settle in for her remaining years with a comfortable and loving home.  Claire's owner passed away, leaving her all alone. She has had many admirers who would love to take her home, but she is a NO OTHER CATS kind of gal.  A quiet environment would suit her best.  She is loving, yet independent (typical kitty)!Clair would love to have a home with windows that she can look out of...not too much to ask! If you can put on cat tv with birds that would be even more perfect! She is perfectly content to play on her own with her favorite toys (that will go along with her, of course)--balls with bells, and her banana toy. She loves Fancy Feast wet food and treats! Clair has a slight cloudiness in her right eye. The vet says it doesn't bother her, and she's likely had it since birth.  She possibly has limited vision in that eye, but other than that, it is of no concern. Clair is up to date on vaccines, spayed and FIV/FeLV negative. Clair is currently isolated in a foster home since there are other pets in the home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update:Leila (on the bottom) is a striking longhair and a pretty big-sized lady. She has warmed up to her foster Mom considerably since coming to her current foster home and will sometimes accept being petted when approached calmly. Although she certainly spends some time outside in the enclosed yard of her foster building, she spends the majority of her time inside, usually on a cat tree or comfy bed. She seems certain to be a real homebody and will be a beautiful presence in a quiet, traffic-safe barn home. Leila and her long-term companion, Croissant, continue to be closely bonded and are adoptable only as a pair. Original Post:Leila is a sweet but cautious kitty who is quite shy around most people. She might eventually allow a person she trusts to pet her, but doesn't want to be picked up or held. She does well with other cats, but has had no direct exposure to dogs. Leila will most likely be happiest as a barn cat in a quiet barn environment in a traffic-safe location. Adoption together with her close friend and companion, Croissant, is a must!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Rosie for more information about this pet.8/16/2024We can't believe Handsome Harvey is still in foster care!  Harvey may start out shy, but once he settles in he's just the sweetest guy.  He gets along with his feline roommate Eleanor, is great with the litterbox and is a very low maintenance type of guy.  He may be 10 years old, but he's healthy and still remarkably playful.  Adopt this sweet guy today! 4/20/24Harvey is doing so well since entering foster care!  He's had excellent litterbox manners from day one and is such a quiet, sweet house guest.  He was very scared at first, but once his fellow foster cat Eleanor joined him, he's really come out of his shell, so we do think he would be happiest being adopted with a friendly buddy (maybe Eleanor?). He loves treats and really enjoys being brushed.  He's such a good boy!original post:Welcome Harvey to The Cat Shack! Actually, I should say welcome back to Harvey as he was adopted from the Cat Shack as a tiny kitten about 9 years ago. Harvey lived in the same home these past 9 years and witnessed so many changes! Marriages, a human baby joining the family and various new pets coming and going. His former owner tells us that Harvey is a sweet cat who loves to be brushed but he can startle easily. Because he frightens easily, he’s become stressed with the increased activities of a toddler and several outdoor cats and unfortunately, he’s missed the litterbox in his former home. His former owner believes that Harvey needs to live in a calmer household to really shine. The veterinarians at Perkiomen Animal Hospital have carefully checked Harvey and they have given him a clean bill of health! He’s now chilling in a quiet foster home so we will be able to get a better feel for his personality soon.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home.
